ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 No, because it would never be my job to sing the national anthem. It's never anyone's job to do so. Didn't say it was his job to sing it, but to observe it should be expected. Not protest against it. We won't agree, but I don't think he should turn away from a minutes silence for lost lives looking after people working in this country like him. But you think it's fine to do so, there we have it. Opinions. I'm not saying any more.
Nalis Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 You would soon get over your hatred of these players if they did well for us.
corbyfox1884 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 El Hadji Diouf average ability but a disgusting human being Craig Bellamy just dont like him Rob Earnshaw as above
ThaiFox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 You would soon get over your hatred of these players if they did well for us. Quite right.....Of course there are players I'd hate to see playing for us (John Terry springs to mind) but as long as they give everything in the style of a Vardy, I'd still support them. I support Leicester City and if players give 100% I support the players. I'm sure if we met our own players there would be a lot we'd dislike personally!! It's why you should never meet your hero's!
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Football fans are generally a very fickle bunch. I agree with those saying that if we signed any of these players, and they did well, any dislike would soon be forgotten. For instance, who now really mentions Simpson's indiscretions?

Fickle indeed we are...

Bluetintedspecs Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 El Hadji Diouf average ability but a disgusting human being Craig Bellamy just dont like him Rob Earnshaw as above Underlying Welsh issue here
bovril Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Underlying Welsh issue here Little known fact that El (short for Elwyn) Hadj Diouf grew up son of a butcher from Mold.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Little known fact that El (short for Elwyn) Hadj Diouf grew up son of a butcher from Mold. Knew it
Leicesterpool Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Imagine McClean playing for us and scoring the winner to wind up the opposition fans though. Would be classic. I can imagine they' d be a right uproar with the fans if we tried to sign him. Besides he's overrated anyway, people will say oh but he plays international football for Republic Of Ireland... I'm mean so... you only have to drink a bottle of Guinness to get called up for Ireland.
Alf Bentley Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Little known fact that El (short for Elwyn) Hadj Diouf grew up son of a butcher from Mold. Yep - and he's the spit of his old Dad. That's why they sing that song for him: "Elwyn's Dad's a butcher, and he sells mouldy meat. He lives in a Mold-y council house, and spits on Elwyn's feet"
