jayfox26 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Theo Walcott - a lot of promise, but rarely turns up consistently. Bafetimbi Gomis - when he scores he does the cringeworthy cat scratch celebration. Jack Grealish - would probably never play due to either being injured or getting trashed. I'm also convinced that Gomis is a woman. I have nothing against women, but I don't want one playing for City
4everfox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 We all have players that we (justifiably or not) dislike immensely. So, what three (or more) players would you never want to see in a Leicester kit? Also, a brief sentence on why. My three: 1. Mario Balotelli. I think he is self-centered and would never participate in a "team first" philosophy like Leicester's. 2. Yaya Toure. I think he is lazy, and wouldn't put in the required effort. 3. Luis Suarez. He gets goals, but he also might get sent off at any time for bizarre behavior... What are your three? Luis Suarez, really? I'd take him in a heartbeat. He may have the odd controversial moment but all the great ones do. He works his b#ll#cks off and is meant to be a brilliant player to have in the dressing room. Apart from his urge to taste human flesh he is class in every way possible.
Merging Cultures Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 1. Carroll2. Di Maria3. Falcao4. Sterling5. Rooney (in current form, he'd have been cracking aged 18-25)Over priced, over paid and over rated.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 From history: Scholes, Jody Morris, Woodgate.Yowzer. Scholes? Paul Scholes? The Paul Scholes? The only way I could imagine turning down Scholes is if the sentence started "You can have Zidane or..." [edit] I see I was late to the Bovril-bashing. Sorry to add to your dissenters, but hadn't seen your justification at that point. "Just hate him" is totally valid, fair play.
Alf Bentley Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 A witch hunt at the Vicente Cauldron stadium, with Marlon Broomes. Neil Warlock in the dug-out, half-time music from Roy Wood's Wizzard....for a fixture against the Black Cats, naturally.
foxfanazer Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Past players Rio Ferdinand (can't stand that bloke! ) Alan Smith (the leeds one) Kevin Nolan
Alf Bentley Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I have to say this World Wide Web constantly impresses and surprises me. It even has some music to comfort you as you face your Scholes-induced persecution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc4UPbjO2h8 ....features the magnificent "No Xmas for John Quays" & "Yeah, Yeah, Industrial Estate..."
artursteppe Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Paul Scholes was the luckiest player I have ever seen, always cheating, rarely getting booked. Dirty little shit should have started every game with a yellow card in the first five minutes. Hated the little scrote!!!!!!!!!!
David Lowe Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Bradley Dack Barry Corr Harry Burrows Just don't think they are good enough.
filbertway Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Lazy players that people love because they do about 1 good thing a game and have 1 great game every 15 matches. In reality though, it's basically like playing with 10 men. Berbatov Yaya Touré Negredo/Higuain (take your pick) Managed by Gary Megson, Tony Pulis, Rafa Benitez or any manager more concerned with keeping a clean sheet than trying to score a goal.
bovril Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 So people can say Rooney, Suarez and Ronaldo but only I get lambasted for choosing the sainted Paul Scholes? Let me just say this, Jimmy Saville was a national treasure at one point, too.
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 i hate Harry Arter. A very unlikeable player. Gets in the referees face a lot, and has very little ability. A cock. Matt Richie is like that although I think Richie is a good footballer.
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 1. Okazaki 2. James McClean 3. Joey Barton Let me guess, managed by Nigel Pearson
ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Let me guess, managed by Nigel Pearson Probably..It was tongue in cheek. As for the other 2, I can't stand either of them.
AKCJ Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Probably.. It was tongue in cheek. As for the other 2, I can't stand either of them. What is wrong with McLean?
RonnieTodger Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Imagine McClean playing for us and scoring the winner to wind up the opposition fans though. Would be classic.
ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 What is wrong with McLean? It's offensive something as thick as he is can be a earning the money he is. Plus, don't like the country? Go ply your trade in your own.
AKCJ Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 It's offensive something as thick as he is can be a earning the money he is. Plus, don't like the country? Go ply your trade in your own. What has made you question his intelligence? Edit; You won't catch me singing the Italian national anthem but I work there quite often.
ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 What has made you question his intelligence? His OWN manager said on national television he isn't he sharpest tool in the box?
ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 What has made you question his intelligence? Edit; You won't catch me singing the Italian national anthem but I work there quite often. You'd respect it if it was your job to do so though I'm sure. When in Rome and all that.. And if you don't like Rome? Go home.
AKCJ Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 You'd respect it if it was your job to do so though I'm sure. When in Rome and all that.. And if you don't like Rome? Go home. No, because it would never be my job to sing the national anthem. It's never anyone's job to do so.
