I believe Kante was the best LCFC player this season and the most consistent one, but he doesn't score so he won't get it, same goes for Morgan. I wish Vards would get the award, that would make some story, could also make for a nice climax in this movie they're planning to make. Mahrez is obviously brilliant but he's chimeric (and a bit too selfish at times, thats why he probably won't win over some of the fans). When he has his day he's Mr Fahrenheit, a match winner and best player in Premier League. But on his day off (which fortunately happens rarely) he's Mr Invisible. That's not a criticism, it's just how he is, and I accept it. It's always worth to keep him on the pitch, no matter how quiet he may be, because in one moment he can turn on and score a match-winning goal or have an assist.

The main reason a team like ours is top of the mountain is because we have had unbelievable performances from the majority of our team week in and out. I mean fuchs, morgan and drinky have been phenomenal and on another season kante or vards should win it by a country mile...for me most consistent player = kante. Most improved = vardy. Player of the year = riyad for the influence with combined goals and assists and his pure flair that on his day makes him unplayable and irresistable to watch

We've both been following Leicester for many years and I certainly can't think of a more technically gifted player that we've had during my time. But the best player in Leicester's history? I'm not so sure. If he sticks around and helps us win the Champions League next year then I'll have to agree with you

The best in the last 20 years, I agree only Muzzy would be in the frame to challenge him.

Dan Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Aguero is THE BEST player in the world for me (genuinely ahead of Messi etc) but I agree this season mainly because of injury it hasn't been his best. Would still be in top 6 though maybe? This season with My Blue Tinted Spectacles on I would say Mahrez gets the vote as flair player of the season surely? Overall graft and talent combined probably Kante deserves it? What?!?!?!
