AKCJ Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 points gained from them 4 goals. 1 point. Heard of match winners, never heard of consolation scorers. 2 assists is pretty pitiful too to be honest. Do you seriously not rate aguero?
ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Do you seriously not rate aguero? Rate yeah, think he's been in the top 6 this season? Not anywhere near it.
AKCJ Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Rate yeah, think he's been in the top 6 this season? Not anywhere near it. Ahhh, I see. Yeah, I think injuries have seen to that. But 16 goals from 21 Prem appearances can't be sniffed at.
ScouseFox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Ahhh, I see. Yeah, I think injuries have seen to that. But 16 goals from 21 Prem appearances can't be sniffed at. nah it can if they weren't scored at the right time or against the right teams
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Aguero is THE BEST player in the world for me (genuinely ahead of Messi etc) but I agree this season mainly because of injury it hasn't been his best. Would still be in top 6 though maybe? This season with My Blue Tinted Spectacles on I would say Mahrez gets the vote as flair player of the season surely? Overall graft and talent combined probably Kante deserves it?
ImBlue Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 nah it can if they weren't scored at the right time or against the right teamsYou're like a bad smell..Of course scoring goals that win points is better than consolations? Anyway, you don't mind if you score 15 in one game and none for the rest of the season, I'd prefer a striker to score in 15 seperate games. Opinions, now go away.
boots60 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Player of the past 12 months has got to be James Pearson because without him we would not be where we are now. Well done James.
theessexfox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Imagine a world in which we're considering how many Leicester players should be in the shortlist for Premier League player of the season mad
LCFC FOX Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 He's 23 now, and he's hardly played all season? Got to be Dodoo or Chilwell if we're talking about the internal award. it's 23 and under isn't it? If not it'll be out of Chilwell, Gray and Dodoo?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Motsons list was a joke. Bolasie and Sigurdsson
Wymsey Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Should be: Mahrez Vardy Kante (seriously, all three for different reasons) Alli Payet None from Man City (Sterling seems over-rated, Toure hasn't done much compared to last season, whilst Aguero hasn't really been at his best) or Man Utd (largely over-rated players, apart from Mata, Rashford, Smalling and Carrick).

Guest Col city fan Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 In this order: Kante Vardy Mahrez Drinkwater Morgan Simpson In truth, it could be almost any player, in any order.
MattCan Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Maybe we're just not biased, moronic Algerian fans who can quite clearly appreciate just how many of our players have contributed massively this year. We loved Riyad before this season, and we will for a long time. In terms of the 6 player list: Vardy Mahrez Kante Morgan Payet Alli/Drinkwater Will be Mahrez. Now, eat your heart out you moron !!!
ThaiFox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Vardy. Voted for him last season because I felt his spirit saved us. Cambiasso was great, but for me Vardy was the key. I voted for him in the championship winning year for the same reason. Even if you take away his goals and his record breaking run, he brings so much to the team others don't, his fighting spirit, his passion and his work ethic have galvanized the whole club. Has turned into a club legend for me, and by showing his commitment to the club is the icing on the cake when he could have gone elsewhere for a big payday. Mahrez. Kante. Drinkwater. Huth. Morgan. Albrighton. Kasper. Fuchs. Simpson. All as runners up! By the way, reading John Motson's choices on here show how past it he is. Does he watch these players? Or is he like Woy and just picks them because he likes them?
Heisenberg Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I'm going for Wes. Vilified by many last season after doing little wrong but this season he's been rock solid and a real leader
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Has to be Mahrez. Probably be Ozil or Payet.Agreed i was thinking it will probably be the usual big name for big club scenario not who actually deserves it as per usual
HighPeakFox Posted 8 March 2016 Author Posted 8 March 2016 For those that might not have realised, I am talking about the shortlist of 6 players for the League award, not the club award
Heisenberg Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 For those that might not have realised, I am talking about the shortlist of 6 players for the League award, not the club awardSame thing ain't it
HighPeakFox Posted 8 March 2016 Author Posted 8 March 2016 Same thing ain't it You cannot count to 6, apparently
MattCan Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 1. Mahrez 2. Payet 3. Vardy 4. de Bruyne 5. Ozil 6. Alli.
Heisenberg Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Will be something like Vardy Mahrez Kante Payet Ozil Kane/Lukaku
kingfox Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Kante has been the best player in the Prem by a country mile, Vardy & Mahrez have done the business with goals & assists but they have gone through inconsistent periods. Kante has been consistent, if it wasn't for him & Drinkwater I believe we wouldn't be top. As for players from other sides, Alderweireld, Alli & Payet have impressed me the most.
