Anyone remember a 2001 friendly against India?

Need help remembering some details... back in ~2001, I watched Leicester play a friendly against India. God knows why this match happened but I'm at a loss for any other details.

Does anyone else remember this? I think the match took place in London, but could be mistaken.

I think it was 2004 we played East Bengal at home possbly as part of the Pepsi Challenege involving Maritimo and Mallorca. Pretty sure we beat them 1-0 with Benjamin scoring.

It was against the Indian national team and I don't believe the game took place in Leicester. Wish I could be more helpful! Fairly confident it was in 2001..

Are you thinking of the India v Bangladesh friendly at Filbert Street?  July 2000.  Not quite London, I know....

Yeah I was just about to say this. Nothing but the best at Filbert Street!

Googled Quiz-Ball and there's a full episode on BBC iPlayer.

Imagine Pelligrini Aguero Kompany and Noel Gallagher v Claudio Schlupp King and Serge these days in that quiz.
