Profiteering ‘fans’ criticised by Foxes Trust

Good work by the Trust.

Ticket touts are a given at any major event. Even at small concerts, touts walk up and down the queue trying to buy and sell tickets. I bet the Trust have contacts at the Mercury, so I'd like to see this in there.

A lot of genuine fans may be able to afford the inflated prices, but a hell of a lot more won't. It must be especially galling for those who have been going for most of the season but can't get a ticket, yet some Johnny-come-lately Liverpool fan with a few quid in his pocket can ride on the wave of success and sit there asking his Leicester-supporting mate "which one's Mraz?"

Don't really get why people are having a dig. At least they're doing something within their power to bring the issue to people's attention. Ginnetta seemed to be actively condoning it in the Merc last week...

Emailed the club lol

Blocking out his details and then creating a username with his actual name lol

I'm sure the club will struggle to identify an under 22 'Harry W' in J3.

Tool.

Who lives in syston

Think you should all look at the obvious touting going on in the Everton tickets for £15,000 thread

People saying "wouldn't be able to turn down 3 or 4 grand "

That's advertising the price they would sell at

The club has to be more transparent. It's ridiculous a supposed 6,000 tickets can vanish in 30 minutes when there aren't even 6,000 gold members, we've seen this on smaller scales for away games with them disappearing out the back of the ticket office and it really has to stop.

As an aside there are some absolutely shocking forgeries going around already as well, two being offered in the High Cross last night for £50 each and the ink has worn off half of it lol

I'm getting a bit fvcking fed up of this argument to be honest, as if you're saying people aren't allowed to be angry that friends, relatives and others who can't pay and afford to be extorted by this emerging black market purely because "we all have a price".

Well, fvck that. Nobody is going to make me an offer I would accept for my season ticket, I know this, and suspect you do too. I also know, as a football supporter, my blood is boiling at the idea people who would give anything (without necessarily having the financial means to do so) to see this game can't, while others will be able to purely because of their ability to offer the highest bid. Just because this situation happens to be a case of unrestrained free market economics in action doesn't make it right. Not one bit.

Why would you want to do that now? The auction has ended successfully at £500.

So, not only will Harry W from Syston (age 22 or below) be having troubles explaining his deals to the club, but also to eBay as well as the person who bought the ST off him for the last three home games.

Now taken down lol

Err... I can still see it.

So he realises he's being a tool.

Some people can just get caught up in the thought of all that money, and not really be bad people.

You're right, they are the real victims in all of this...

Club have emailed back and said that he has been identified. They have also said that anyone found to be touting will be issued with a banning order by the club... Worth the risk? I think not.
