char123 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I was thinking today seeing as a lot of everton fans have gave their tickets up to leicester fans (many at face value) when the birch welcomes them should we not applaud them as opposed to the normal boos. Thoughts? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Russell sprout Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Do you think the stewards will escort and foxes in the away end out after the game when the Everton fans leave
MrSpaM Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Do you think the stewards will escort and foxes in the away end out after the game when the Everton fans leave When we were promoted from the championship the away fans were allowed to stay for the entire thing if they wanted to, quiet a few of them did actually
Grey Fox Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 A friend of mine is in the away end. He couldn't get a ticket in the home end for love nor money. He asked me this morning if he should wear his Leicester shirt. I said maybe not. I told him I would ask on here and see what people think? Do you think he'll get away with wearing a Leicester shirt in the away end, or best not to risk it? Thanks

stripeyfox Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 I've been weighing it up but I don't think I'm going to risk it. Just wear blue. Can't go wrong then. You never know how the stewards are going to handle the situation. If you've got a Leicester shirt on your just giving them an excuse to deny you entry
leeleic Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 I really want to take mine to wear once the full time whistle has blow. They won't kick us out then surely? Are we likely to be searched as 'away' fans?
KP Fox Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Well done to Everton fans for their generosity. One of the fans who donated his tickets to a Leicester parent and child is also involved in a children's cancer charity http://www.ameliamaefoundation.co.uk/donations can be made from the website
DaveK Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 There were plenty of Leicester colours in the away end. If you didn't take the piss it was fine. Based on who stayed till the end I'd say it was approx a quarter Leicester in there.
lee7 Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 So many of us in their end. The evertonians around me were really friendly. I sung throughout and didn't get any trouble. A lot of them even saying to me that they felt guilty for being there and they hoped if roles were reversed then we would give up our tickets too.

The irony of the people who are there saying they hope we would do the same if the roles were reversed.
lee7 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 The irony of the people who are there saying they hope we would do the same if the roles were reversed. I did point that out to the bloke hahaha
foxfanazer Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 The Everton fans near me were sound and encouraged me to sing Leicester songs. There was a fair bit of trouble in there though
westwinds31 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I was in the Everton end and amazed at those who openly displayed their colours from a Leicester perspective. The "trouble" that was mentioned was handbags at best and just a bit of pushing and shoving, caused by Leicester fans not showing the away end fans any respect.....a couple of beers had been had clearly. Everton fans around me were superb and I take my hat off to them for turning up to watch that rubbish from their team. Loyal supporters. Great day though and thanks to my Everton mate for selling me his ticket at face value.....memorable.
Filberts lovechild Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Was in the away end and most were sound, chatting to me about it for ages, however the old blokes around me sniffed out I was a Leicester fan (though not openly wearing a shirt or taking the piss celebrating) and they insisted I leave. Utter arseholes, just bitter old scousers. Decided I didn't want to ejected for them kicking off so found a seat elsewhere for 2nd half. Overall they were sound though I wouldn't like this all the time.
smr Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I was obviously a bit luckier with where me and my dad were stood then.... didn't get any bother at all, even had one everton fan in front of me turn around and congratulate me and me dad for being behaved "at least theres some good Leicester fans here" he said. I was wearing my Leicester shirt and my Dad was wearing a Leicester Champions T Shirt and put his Leicester shirt on at the end of the game. We both clapped when we scored and when we got corners etc . but we couldn't go mental when we scored like we do when we're in the home end. had a few everton fans walking past us after the trophy lifting congratulating us again... the fighting that broke out did look a little nasty, one 20 stone leicester fan kicked a steward if i saw correctly, nasty ****er, and missed us lifting the trophy and the rest of the game, what an utter bell.Standing in the away end and not respecting their team is retarded.

MrSpaM Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 I can't believe some of our fans turned up on the away end wearing city shirts with LCFC shaved in the side of their head. Could you possibly be more stupid?
DaveK Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 think might have been, seat 338/339 Yeah my mate was stood next to your Dad. Two Leicester fans the other side of me as well so that was 6 in a row!
