He's magic, you know esteban Cambiasso

Love the guy and was gutted when he left. Definitely proves the point of not getting hung up if we lose anyone else next season. There are replacements out there.

The guy was utter class. Agreed his magic rubbed off here and his calmness and attitude clearly influenced those around him when they needed it most. Absolute legend.

Christ! For three quarters of the season we were shocking! To consider Cambiasso 'a legend' is to insult the true legends of LCFC.

You don't understand anything about football, teamwork or leadership. You're an embarrassment to yourself and this forum with every desperate post on this topic. He was part captain, part coach, part media manager, part puppet master and with nothing to prove he still gave his all, played with brilliance, and was arguably the most important factor in us staying up.

God almighty, I'm glad you didn't predict Ranieri would fall flat, otherwise we'd be subject to endless justification about how you are still right about that. You were wrong, that's completely fine, you don't have to keep beating yourself up about it. But stop this 'old drunk muttering to yourself in a corner' shit about Cambiasso, it's painful.

What makes a legend?

Notable impact on the pitch

Attitude that gets the fans on board

Involvement in iconic moments

Association with major success/improvement

Focal point of discussion in stands, pubs and in media

Strokable bald head

In conclusion; Cambiasso=legend.

I agree Drinky is twice the player he was after that season with cambiasso I sure all who played/trained with him that season learned a lot!

In my eyes he's a legend!

Cambiasso came here because of the "lure" of the Premiership. Unfortunately he never had any intention of staying.

He played a mere 33 games for Leicester City and scored 5 goals yes, I agree, with many good performances but for folk to say he is legend and one of our greatest players in 132 years of history is stretching the point somewhat.

Personally I wouldn't say he's a "legend" and I somewhat agree with what you're saying but I'd put him on the "icons" list.

A fantastic player that put his reputation on the line to join us, in reality.

He could have easily turned into one of those players that arrives for the pay check but his attitude while he was here was impeccable. I've never really understood Col's disdain for Cambiasso. Okay, we got him towards the end of his career and although he did;t let himself down in any way last season, it was his desire and influence that should be applauded.

As so many keep mentioning this season's success being somewhat down to Pearson, I can't help thinking that Cambiasso also played a part. When a footballing icon is training with you every day, you can't help but strive to improve and this has shown with performances this season.

Club legend? sort of... Fan's favourite? Definitely

Cambiasso kept us up last year, Pearson is responsible for this season, Ranieri will take credit for the 9th place next campaign.

I think.

I thought Wes Morgan was gaffer this year?

Erm... have you ever read many of Corky's posts? Or perhaps you have no sense of irony?
