Ric Flair Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 The ultimate professional who helped us when we needed him most last season and helped set us on this path to ridiculousness. He'd have got nowhere near Drinkwater and Kante this season but he'll always be held in the highest regard by me.
AyewJoking Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He is bound to be thinking "what if i can persuade them to re sign me for the champions league"
lifted*fox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Watched him smash in that 3-3 equalizer against United again on Sunday morning and it bought me to tears. He came to this club, touched it with a bit of his magic and was no doubt part of the springboard that pushed us on to such great heights this season. What a guy.
Ozwin Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He came to this club, touched it with a bit of his magic and was no doubt part of the springboard that pushed us on to such great heights this season. Spent 10 minutes trying to come up with a way of describing what he did to this club. You've summed it up perfectly.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Even after this season there are individual moments of quality that Cambiasso produced that are the best in recent memory. Remember that ball to Ulloa that he couldn't control in the Chelsea game? Holy shit.
ST20 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I remember the times he'd tell the team to keep calm and remained totally professional.
GaelicFox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He is bound to be thinking "what if i can persuade them to re sign me for the champions league" I'm not sure he is a sit on a Bench type

Finnegan Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I'm sure he can think of worse things to do in his dotage than spend a year trolling Arsenal in the champions league in Athens. I'm sure he's happy. You may be aware but I believe he has won a few trophies.
possiblygeorge Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He is bound to be thinking "what if" I feel so very shattered for him to be honest
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Imagine the tears flowing down the stands when Knocky and Estaban walk out at half time with the Birch on Saturday.
LCFC FOX Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He left us because he thought he couldn't win any more with Leicester. Deep down he'd be gutted he didn't stay an extra year and get the premier league trophy.
dpjfox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 i have a feeling Cambo will return one day, possibly as a future manager
dylanlegend Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I think if he'd have stayed we wouldn't be PL champions right now. Absolute Ledge all the same
americanfox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Cambiasso is a legend and still one of the greatest players ever to wear our shirt. But both parties are better off.
theessexfox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He was incredible for us and regardless of what we've gone on to achieve, the whole stadium singing "we want you to stay" shows what a hero he was in that season, without which we probably wouldn't be celebrating a Premier League title now. Obviously he wouldn't be near the 11 with how we've progressed this season but still a great man.
David Hankey Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Cambiasso came here because of the "lure" of the Premiership. Unfortunately he never had any intention of staying. He played a mere 33 games for Leicester City and scored 5 goals yes, I agree, with many good performances but for folk to say he is legend and one of our greatest players in 132 years of history is stretching the point somewhat.
foxy boxing Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 He was a leader on the pitch for us every member of the squad looked up 2 him because of his experience and what he had achieved
