Timings of the games are silly for people in Europe

True, but I bet Walsh will be staying up late to find a steering wheel that we can needle through the village.

FS1. I hate you. Not only did it go to 0-2 at first when they scored, but I'm pretty sure the video is delayed a second or so more than the commentary is. (I heard them say it went in before I saw it go in.)

A bit harsh of a pen. USA don't look too bad though overall. This game might be lost but still think we can get out of the group.

Eh. Poor 2nd half. We're fvcked and clueless.

Columbia knew they'd got this from around the 60th minute, got very leggy in possession in their own half and the Yanks shouldve got at least one goal from the lapses in defence.

Quite impressed with the Cocaine boys at the start of the second half though; reminded me of us how they sat back with two banks of four, heavily pressing and hitting the counter. Alternated between that and a 4-3-3 that England tried but used an actual winger in Cuadrado to stretch play.

Colombia weren't at their swashbuckling best (they haven't been since 2014, to be fair), but their defense was well-organized. USA showed no verve on attack, and the way Dempsey was up front with Wood and Zardes looked just like England's front three vs Portugal. There was so much space between Wood and Zardes, and if that's going to happen, somebody needs to make a run from the midfield, but that never happened because Bedoya is woeful.

The two friendlies and today also show this team is much more dynamic when Nagbe and Pulisic are playing.

What a boring game. Maybe the three on tap today will provide more excitement.

So little quality in this, can't believe it's a major international tournament.

I know it's not been the most inspiring of starts, but maybe wait until more than three halves have been played before making your stupid comments.

Calm down, than standard of football has been poor. No real quality, so far. Why jump to insults?

Am I wrong? Even if I am, any need for going over the top?

Have you ever watched a first slate of group stage matches in a "major international tournament" before?

Many times and I stand by my comment the standard here has been poor.

Can you seriously say that I am wrong? Why getting so defensive and argumentative over it?
