Probably for the best, man's not had more than 2 or 3  weeks off football for close to 20 months now. Also they beat Chile without him so I'm sure they'll be fine.

Jamaica vs Venezuela getting started on Premier Sports now (sky channel 428), shame no Wes as it seems its the only free to air match in the tournament

lol Why do the Americans keep bigging up Giles Barnes?

Jamaica are an exiting team, so much pace and strength but what they seem to lack is organisation of attacks and usually solidity but Westley helps alot with that. No rest for the wicked

Just turned it on at the end of the 2nd half.

The awful Fox commentary said things were looking better for Jamaica since Morgan came on?

Ten yellow cards, two reds & a hail of beer cans..just a typical match between these two sides. If Vardy had reacted like that to Moss he would be have been suspended till 2020. lol..wonder if they'll be any suspensions beyond the 1 match for reds?

Many times and I stand by my comment the standard here has been poor.

Can you seriously say that I am wrong? Why getting so defensive and argumentative over it?

Jordan gets his panties in a bunch and throws his toys out every time someone is critical of anything vaguely America when it comes to sport.

You have to cut him some slack, they're all a bit predisposed to be defensive over there. It's what happens when you're routinely told you're the greatest nation on earth and then you try and play sports that you didn't invent yourself.

Raúl Jiménez in the bench

Mexico 1 - Uruguay 1

Raúl Jiménez comes in

Mexico 3 - Uruguay 1

This man has a star in him. He scored some crucial goals coming in from the bench this season for Benfica.

If only America and England could compete in some sort of world competition in the sport. If only they held some sort of cup every four years to determine who was better. But God, wouldn't it be embarrassing if England, so vastly superior at football, still ended up finishing worse?

But don't mind me. Just another American butthurt about being told how great we are.

hoping for a belter here. no messi no aguero but still, di maria and higuain for the argies, sanchez, vargas and charles aranguiz for chile.

chile's team is great. a mix of genuine superstars and people like jean beausejour who wasnt good enough to play for wigan and gonzo jara who got released from forest.

I'm not English and we've got a 100% winning record against the United States in our national sport.

But thanks for taking the bait and proving my point, even if you tried to do it with some self awareness. ;)

Thanks, this kind of clarifies the point Finn was trying to make.
