Robson Kanu

He's done one skill move that's paid off and all of a sudden Reading reject Robson Kanu is a world beater

I'm sorry but we should be aiming higher than a player with one flash of brilliance a year, Vardy provided that on a weekly basis last season. We should not be signing players based on performances at a single tournament.

But what did Vardy provide on a weekly basis during his first season with us?

Robson-Kanu, isn't a player who people would predict to start 38 league games and score over 20 goals for us this coming season. He isn't someone who is likely to make an instant impact upon the starting XI.

But he also isn't someone coming from nowhere. Someone with no experience of Premier League, and now, European Football. He also isn't someone who is going to cost us a record breaking free, or extortionate wages.

The difference between his current level, and the level required to make an impact in our squad, IS, significantly less than the Jamie Vardy of 2012, and the Jamie Vardy of today.

I saw him play live against Belgium and he showed a lot of quality , similar in many respects to Troy Deeney .Good hold up play , strong with his back to goal and making clever positional runs , which added to the worldy he scored ,was very impressive.

As a squad addition for a very low outlay , he is definitely worth a gamble.

I'll take 3 of whatever you're popping. Thanks.

Not good enough for the championship. Why on earth would he be good enough for us.

If any club was evidence that players can improve, at any age, into capable top division players, then it is us.

Free transfer, low wages, even just for cup games, wouldn't mind if Walsh et al think he could do a job.

He's another one of those players who hasn't hit the heights of what was expected. But he has been more impressive at these Euros than Bale.

Works hard, can improve, bring him in.

lol

More impressive than Bale my arse. Jesus people get carried away with hype.

He's scored two very important goals, not gonna lie, and he does a great job working his balls off in the channels.

But he's never coming here in a million years.

Grewks has lost it. Honestly, Robson-Kanu signing for Premier League champions and playing the Champions League? Robson-Kanu having a better tournament than Bale?

We can do better, He's not good enough for us, We are massive. Just shut up seriously so many knob ends on here. Did you all forget what got us to where we are now? Players who play there hearts out for the manager don't stop running actually listen to what the manager wants. All of a sudden we should only be signing top top superstars who WONT buy in to what we stand for. Mark Albrighton is the prime example. Realesed by a crap Aston villa side was he not good enough? Or did he turn into one of our best players? Huth wasn't wanted by an Average Stoke side at the time was he not good enough? Mahrez French league 2 player, Gray English Championship player. Wez Morgan so many people said he wasn't good enough after his first season second season he was name in the team of the year.  Seriously guys you need a reality check.

Cant tell if this is all a bad dream in which Wales are in the euros semi's and Leicester fans are calling for the signing of Hal Robson Kanu?

I can't believe what I'm reading.

People saying that he's a quality player, wrong.

People saying that he works hard for his team, maybe for Wales but he's been a half arsed lazy pillock for reading for however long he's been there.

Not good enough for top end championship let alone premiership. If he wasn't on a free people wouldn't even be discussing potentially signing him.

Shall we get Steve Howard and Wayne Brown back as well whilst we're at it.

Those who have watched the tournament....What has Bale actually contributed for such a 'World Class' player?

He's scored two free kicks, which were both hit straight down the middle of the goal. I remember the uproar on here when Wallace scored against Kasper last season, but at least that went over the wall towards the corner.

Bale has been the most disappointing player in the tournament for me so far. You have to laugh when so many of the pundits are saying he will be better than Ronaldo soon.

Burnley bound. George Boyd is similar to Bale after all.

Glad he's not coming to us.

I'd have thought Championship would've been more his level.
