Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Never looked good in the Championship. One good goal and people think he's a world beater fvck right off
FoxinNotts Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 He was released by Reading and hasn't been a great player at any point in his career... I agree. But those saying Leicester wouldn't be interested, I wouldn't be so sure. There seems to be some illusion that we are going to sign world beaters at big prices. This is not the case.
GingerrrFox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 I agree. But those saying Leicester wouldn't be interested, I wouldn't be so sure. There seems to be some illusion that we are going to sign world beaters at big prices. This is not the case. True but signing players of the standard of Robson-Kanu is also not the case. He's not good enough at all.
FoxinNotts Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 True but signing players of the standard of Robson-Kanu is also not the case. He's not good enough at all. Agreed. Would be nice to get a few signings on a free though.
foxfanazer Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Dear god! Did I dream we won the league when in fact we were relegated. Awful player!
FoxinNotts Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11712/10332655/hal-robson-kanu-on-leicester-citys-radar-sky-sources Oh dear, Sky feels the need to put it in writing.
lgfualol Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Jesus christ. Hasnt he scored 20 goals in the last four seasons in the Championship? What absolute bullshit.
Poiseuille Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Was he released by Reading, or did he run his contact down? I remember seeing that he'd made it clear to Reading he wound be leaving on a free at the end of season because he wanted to move to a bigger club...? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Not a chance were in for him. Just guess work from sky
Kitchandro Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Agreed. Would be nice to get a few signings on a free though. Why?
crisp packet Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 I would have said f uck no in the championship This
FoxinNotts Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Why? Because, as I stated further up this thread, at the merest hint of a teams season going not as successfully as expected (which will be inevitable for us this season, following last seasons heroics), the first thing levelled at a team, is how much have they spent against how many players they have bought in, against how much has come in, ie. Nett spend. It would be good to off-set some of the inflated prices of players, with some free signings. It's not 'my money', I appreciate this, but it is the club I support, and I would like it to be viewed as a well run one.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 We could sign him and then sell him straight away. Probably get 10 million in the current transfer market
mozartfox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Robson and Jerome up front and we will be the real deal. I thought Kanu had retired?
