Steve Walsh was only checking on Andy King's progress in gurning.

Helped against Nainggolan and Belgium, so we're doing alright.

I don't think anyone needs to worry about this one. SKY are simply trying to create a bit of a story where there isn't one. Steve Walsh probably was there twice but SSN quite clearly have no idea why so have created a handy little narrative to try to pique a bit of interest.

His had a good game against Wales but wouldn't warrant a transfer to the premier league champions.

Think it's agent talk to push with value up.

Will probably end up at somewhere like Swansea.

I know we love signing the unexpected and I can get well on board with that, but seriously we can do far, far better. Surely this is just Sky once again displaying how unreliable they've turned.

Linked to a player after a Cruyff turn.

What a load of horseshit.

This thread is so Foxestalk. You're all so SERIOUS. As if HRK is going to any top half Prem club, let alone us.

Look, he's brilliant for Wales but cmon.

No, chance if this guy was released by Reading why would anyone think his signing would improve the quality of a squad playing in the champions league??

I refer you to my second post on this thread, above ^

Haha sorry mate I wasn't reading the thread properly. When he scored the other night my mate said 'how long until someone starts a thread on FT saying we should have a look at him', so I was having a bit of a chuckle to myself  lol

Because, as I stated further up this thread, at the merest hint of a teams season going not as successfully as expected (which will be inevitable for us this season, following last seasons heroics), the first thing levelled at a team, is how much have they spent against how many players they have bought in, against how much has come in, ie. Nett spend. It would be good to off-set some of the inflated prices of players, with some free signings. It's not 'my money', I appreciate this, but it is the club I support, and I would like it to be viewed as a well run one.

I'd rather we sign some good players. We've got the money so why penny pinch for less quality?

If we could get a good free transfer then great but we're not going to look good if we have average players regardless of what they cost.

Dear RK - Try Burnley or Bournemouth. Not one for us.

I'd be very suprised if Walsh et al will sign him based on that one turn.....Reading have released him for a reason - if he's not good enough for them what makes people think he's good enough for Leicester?

Posted

If any club was evidence that players can improve, at any age, into capable top division players, then it is us.

Free transfer, low wages, even just for cup games, wouldn't mind if Walsh et al think he could do a job.

He's another one of those players who hasn't hit the heights of what was expected. But he has been more impressive at these Euros than Bale.

Works hard, can improve, bring him in.

He's done one skill move that's paid off and all of a sudden Reading reject Robson Kanu is a world beater

I'm sorry but we should be aiming higher than a player with one flash of brilliance a year, Vardy provided that on a weekly basis last season. We should not be signing players based on performances at a single tournament.
