Stockholm Running before Barca game

Recommended Posts

Hey,. I'm a runner and huge LCFC fan.  I'm going running in Stockholm to explore the city - arrive Tues pm and leave Thurs so at least 3 runs to get in.  If anyone would like to join me let me know - nothing hard.  Looks a peach of a city to run in.  Beers afterwards absolutely!

I usually go left foot then right foot and then back to left before switching to right.

I repeat that until I get tired.

yeah, staying in Gustavberg, SE of the city and will be getting plenty of running in. agree it's a great way to see a new place. If you get a route, post it please, there will be some clubs in Stockholm if you google, they'll be glad to hear from you.

But still not clear on what you meant - could you be more direct please?  100% direct.  What does a running invitation mean in the context of your use of the word "euphemism"?.  Please don't spare the explanation.

A euphemism is when you say one thing, when you mean something else. eg. when someone says, "Kick the bucket", they don't mean  someone literally kicked a bucket, they mean someone died.

So, it was a fairly unique request on here to ask about going running in Sweden. So the joke was, perhaps when you said "running" you meant something else. I never said what, it leaves it purposely vague for people to fill in the blanks with what they want.

Admittedly it's not a great joke and I'm not going to be performing at the fringe next year. But there you go.

Hope you have a good run.

Ok - let's call it a quits.  Saturday evening is never the best time to fall out:). Enjoy the rest of the weekend - we have more in common than not! B

:) rather argue with someone who's an LC fan than anyone else.  At least we have a reason not to fall out too much!

Sober as a judge.

I was trying to find a reason for some of your posts.

I'm not arguing mate, it was just a joke and then I've just tried to explain what it was.

Anything particularly Steve, it was a throw away joke here that I'm sure most people understood. Not really sure what the issue is, there were jokes just before and after mine. Do you think they are drunk?

Sorry - that was phrased badly.  I meant it's better to misunderstand something with someone who you have a more fundamental commonality with (LC).  I was too serious and now you've explained the joke (I'm at Fringe too so look forward to hearing it live!) I still don't think it's a good one but understood.  Anyway enough on this thread - I will buy you a beer if we meet.  B

I'll fully admit that :D although I do think it was better than @AKCJ 's

Totally agreed!  Enough on this topic - in the best Saturday standards we've fallen out with a stranger and then made up with no knowledge of who they are!  Take care - I'm just watching at Fringe but if you are performing best of luck:)

Oop... I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I are trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging, it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run, for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.
