Melbourne chant was sung at Hillsborough. Failed to catch on though

Debatable. Didn't catch on as much as we hoped but it did more than it ever has done and I think if we sing it at a few more it'll catch on eventually.

If I'm honest, it's a sad state, but the best way of songs catching on nowadays are if they're started by Jobber.

Lets be honest. there's going to be a game where it does catch on, everyone's going to say its the best thing since 'we love you' and the club will probably make a scarf with the lyrics on it.

I will snap my season ticket in two and take up with the egg chasers if I ever hear this. Sorry, but that's the worst chant I've ever seen suggested (don't take it personally, I'm sure you're a good bloke!).

This is my 8th post in 7 months. That's how strongly I feel about it.
