To the tune of " we'll never be mastered by the those forest bastrds, keep the blue flag flying high" but much faster and with clapping

We're Leicester City

We are the blues

The Pride of England, you know its true

We gave you Gary

And Heskey too

And every Saturday

We'll sing for you!

Weeeeeeeee're Leicester City ! (start clapping again and repeat)

He can from France to England Mahrez, Mahrez

He crosses shoots and dribbles oh Mahrez, Mahrez

He needs a haircut desperately, but we don't care we came to see

RIYAD MAHREZ LEICESTER'S TWENTY SIX

Kitchandro makes the point regularly and he's absolutely spot on - it's the passion that it isn't sung with, that is the problem with WYS.

If we sung YNWA as quickly and as half-heartedly as we sing WYS, it would sound equally shit.

I think WYS is slowly but surely improving but a long way to go before it becomes synonymous with Leicester City to the neutral.

Part of the problem is that, actually, the tempo and emphasis it should be sung with for most effect is actually Jersey Budd-esque. Unfortunately, that cover is so ****ing dreadful, so corny and so outright (and I hate the phrase) plastic that no self respecting fan is ever going to mimic it.

Ohhhhhhh Riyad Mahrez"

to the tune of City's Fernandinho chant.

this would work a treat

Oooooh Ooooooh oh Riyad Mah-rezzz

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gwYgcwh15o

Fernandinho = 5 syllables

Riyad Mahrez = 4 syllables

It doesn't work. The Fernandinho chant is a good one but people are trying to fit 'Riyad Mahrez' into it just because they'd quite like to sing it...

(p.s. stretching a syllable out doesn't work so is not allowed)
