Off to bed Davie ...   Its either 'my typing finger is getting touchitis' or 'my typing finger is suffering from touchitis' ...   not what you said.    Night night.

I'm a vegetarian but even when I ate meat I hated offal. When I was a kid my Mum always used to cook a Steak and Kidney pie on a Saturday and the thought of it makes me queasy, even now.

Oh, I'm not one of these ethical vegetarians, CF, it's a healthy lifestyle choice.

I have absolutely no problem eating meat if necessary, as it sometimes is when I'm travelling.

You have to earn your bus fare home somehow. :)

I'm with you on that one Bucey ...    I steer clear of any meat wrapped up in a plastic container (processed) ...   It just aint good for you !

A lovely wood I wander about in in Northants .....    great place to unwind, watch the world go by ...    and get tomorrows breakfast.     Plus, fill the freezer with meat and keep the local farmers happy.   :)

Oh, right.

I'm fairly  sure I've never eaten venison.

As healthy meat goes its one of the best ...    if you want to try some I'll see what I can do ...    off to talk to the dragon ...   sorry mother in law, now ...   can't ignore her all night.   :)

I'd  like to join in the chat but as I'm  one of the old people all I can say out of that lot the only thing I eat is the mackerel,  most of the other stuff I've  not eat for a god 40 years.

None of this OAP rubbish for Davie. He eats like a God: caviar and nectar every night.

He needs to re-calibrate his diet, though. A bit more caviar and a bit less nectar...

The old lady who sits two along from me at the football has started handing out Murray mints this season.

I'd not tasted a Murray mint since the 1970s - since I was a little lad and my Dad used to take me round to the old lady next door, trying to get me interested in rugby, as she had a TV and we didn't (he failed in this mission).

They're surprisingly tasty. Maybe each generation acquires a taste for Murray mints as they turn elderly?
