WigstonWanderer Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 On TV it seemed like you could have heard a pin drop at the start of the second half. Not much noise from anyone.
WesMorganGod Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 They are good fans, I bet they wish they had a world class CB like Morgan, they would leak a lot less goals thats for sure
EnglishOxide Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Michael Keane is definitely regretting not forcing through a move to us to play alongside Big Wes, that's for sure.
Reg Vardy Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Thought Keane played quite well, we will go back in for him.....middle of the back four is the one area we are short of cover.....
Raj Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Credit to them, they shut L1 up at times, most of them stayed til the end(unlike some of our fans but tgat s another thread!!!)
Finnegan Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 And can we please stop singing "champions of England, you'll never sing that"? Partly because it's the sort of smug, arrogant shit we hate about the "big clubs" but more because we keep singing it to clubs who have already won the ****ing league. Facepalm.jpg

Facepalm.jpg I think it's aimed at the fans not the club. Those specific fans will never sing champions of England .

They still have the right to sing about having been champions in theory though. Knew this would happen. We genuinely have some of the thickest fans going. "Never won fvck all" to Wolves anyone?

It's still stupid if they can just respond with "we've won it more than you" There are only about 6-7 teams we can sing it at in this league without looking literally ridiculous.
Finnegan Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Plus it flies in the face of what we were supposed to represent which is the underdog winning the league. I mean a slightly more clever song pointing out we've won league one, the championship and the Prem since the last time some of the "big clubs" won owt, go for it. I'm all up for some comedy piss taking. Just preferably without making ourselves look retarded.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Now, if you changed the lyric to "Premier League Champions, you'll never sing that" You'd get a lot more joy and a lot less opposition fans laughing their tits off at you. I say you as I'm not singing the silly song regardless
foxy boxing Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 smaller clubs like Burnley will always generate more noise per fan because they don't have a prawn sandwich brigade who are happy just to sit and watch matches, they know their team isn't going to pull up any trees in the premier league and are happy just to be in it. they want to soak up the atmosphere while they can because they don't know how long it will last
treer Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Now, if you changed the lyric to "Premier League Champions, WOULD YOU LIKE TO sing that" A lot more classy

I hope IV tagged you both in this correct. Yeah I agree boys tbh I was just tryin to make sense of it really
leicesterseddon Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Thought they were decent given the circumstances. Certainly better than they usually are, which is rubbish. To be fair though we can hardly have a go - I've been to both of our domestic away games so far (Hull and Liverpool) and we've been pretty poor tbh.
