Winsum Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Supported their club well , best vocal fans down here for a long while. Hope the club can string a few wins together and give them something to hang on to
StanSP Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 they were vocal briefly before the match. Didn't think they were that great during it. They sang. We out-sang them. Bear in mind I'm directly opposite the way the away fans stand so the furthest away .
Fox92 Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Didn't think the home atmosphere was as good as it has been. Burnley did out sing us for a brief period first half. They were good to be fair to them though, remained loud most of the game.
Larry_LCFC Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Amazes me how small some of the away following is in the Premier League. We'd sell out anywhere.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Yeah they were quite vocal yesterday. I seem to recall they were good in the 2014-15 season too.

Winsum Posted 18 September 2016 Author Posted 18 September 2016 Give them a break , they are a small town club , population only around 80,000 and they back their club well. We struggled to sell out games a few years back before the present succesful period
Larry_LCFC Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Not specifically talking about Burnley. Very few clubs bar the usual suspects actually take the full allocation which I just find odd in such a big league.

Not a surprise Burnley or swans didn't bring 3k fans
dayday Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 What was that song they was singing, it got on my nerves in the end.
lgfualol Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Half the noise was their pet ferrets they snuck into the game under their flatcaps
Grewks Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Soon shut up after the goals went in. The best way to judge a sides support is games they're getting battered in tbh.

You mean that God awful thing they 'sang' from about the 20th minute? It's all they do sing. Tbf to them it makes a noise. But **** playing with that following you every week.
Dr The Singh Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 I always thought Burnley fans were pleasant at the grounds

ARTY_FOX Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Also what was going on at the end? Seemed to be gathering on the right hand side until the stewards and some police went up

Maybes Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Soon as the second went it we didn't hear a peep from them. Our support was mediocre at best. Tough to rev yourself up after being at Brugge in all honesty Just glad the players didn't have the same problem.
Finnegan Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 They were alright for a while. Nothing special but better than a lot of the "big" teams. They've always had a reasonably vocal following.

I was thinking this earlier, we've had 3 games at home so far this season and only one away team has taken the full allocation.

Thinking back to last season aswell though, probably just over half took the 3000 allocation.
