Koke Posted 25 September 2016 Posted 25 September 2016 Fuchs, Amartey, Morgan, Huth, Simpson, Mahrez, Vardy - 4 Slimani, Albrighton, King, Schlupp, - 5 Zieler - 6 Drinkwater and Gray - 7 Ranieri - 5 Manchester United - 8 (they were excellent). I didn't want to give Gray and Drinkwater more than 6 cos we got battered but only those 2 came out with any credit. Zieler did as well as he could with that shocking defending in front of him.
Brooksy Posted 25 September 2016 Posted 25 September 2016 Gray MOTM with Drinky second. The rest were utter shite
Chico1958 Posted 25 September 2016 Posted 25 September 2016 Drinkwater MOTM for LCFC Gray and Zieler did OK The rest were no better than a Championship Team at Best Claudio.............Sorry buddy but they don't deserve you
lgfualol Posted 25 September 2016 Posted 25 September 2016 Drinkwater, Gray 7 Zieler, Schlupp, King 5 Slimani, Mahrez 4 Fuchs, Amartey, Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Albrighton 4 - would all be worse but they straightened up a bit for the second half. Vardy 2
kingfox Posted 25 September 2016 Posted 25 September 2016 8 - Gray 7 - Drinkwater 6 - Zieler, King 5 - Fuchs, Huth, Simpson, Slimani 4 - Morgan, Mahrez, Albrighton 3 - Amartey, Vardy
Fox92 Posted 25 September 2016 Posted 25 September 2016 Zieler 6 Simpson 3 Morgan 3 Huth 3 Fuchs 3 Mahrez 4 Amartey 3 Drinkwater 7 - Yet again our best midfielder. Albrighton 3 Slimani 5 - Held the ball up well and second half gave his all. Few poor touches. Vardy 4 King 5 - Should have scored. Gray 7 - Stand out attacker. Schlupp 5 Ranieri 4 - Set up and tactics were wrong again. Ref 1 - Not a surprise given it's Dean but shocking. United 8 - Dominated us after looking shaky themselves.
WesMorganGod Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Morgan 9 . everyone else was below 5. Amarty gets ZERO. Gray possibly the only one over 5, with Morgan obviously.

okie fox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Gary 7, Drinkwater, Zieler 6, Schlupp 5, rest4, ref 5, Man U (with pace instead of Rooney & Fellaini) 8. Ranieri 4 Obvious Schlupp can't be effective on right wing so playing him with Gray, who likes to cut inside from left wing and shoot, is not going to work.
AyewJoking Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 no point grading the second half as it was nothing more than a kick-about which is a shame because gray looked good and scored a beauty. first half not really worth grading either unless you're handing out 1's and 2's. drinkwater was the only one who had a quiet game rather than a shocker now ive posted this i can erase the debacle from my memory
Captain... Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 It's clear people are focussing on the result more than the performance. We were on top first 20 minutes, had United on the back foot and were carving out chances and putting them under pressure. First United goal was poor defending, but that is a mistake, they happen. Second United goal was a nice interchange with Lingard and Mata and a great finish, but it was another mistake that let it happen. Third goal I think we were still reeling and completely switched off for the corner worried about the height in there. Fourth goal, was just Pogba being bigger and stronger than Fuchs. United have some beasts in their team, Pogba, Smalling, Zlatan, Bailly, they beat us with 3 set pieces. It sucks, but it is not time for slitting wrists. We were not played off the park for 90 minutes. First 20 minutes we were on top, we won the second half 1-0 (for what little that counts for) for 25 minutes United got at us and we made uncharacteristic mistakes. I've seen people banging on about the formation needing changing and we need to play 3 in midfield etc, but it was set pieces that did for us today having extra bodies in midfield wouldn't have helped. I also didn't agree with taking off Vardy and Mahrez to save their legs for Porto, take them off because they were having a poor game, but foxes never quit, even 4-0 down at Old Trafford. It basically sent out the message that the game is over and at times the second half was like extra time against Chelsea. The Champions League is important but it shouldn't become a distraction. That is 2 games we've played before a CL game and both games had uncharacteristic mistakes in, as though their minds were else where. Losing at Old Trafford and Anfield is very easy to recover from, many clubs will go there and lose this season, likewise losing at the Etihad and the Emirates, these will most likely happen especially if we are not 100% on our game. I know we are reigning champions, but we are also still Leicester with a squad that cost less than Pogba. On the plus side Gray had a great showing second half and shows that he is ready to step up to the first team, but it has to be either for Mahrez or as part of a formation change. The fans were also great and could be heard loud and clear all game, despite the result.
