Away end allocation.

Our away end holds just over 3,200. Are we giving teams less as no one seems to be selling our away end out this season. Only Arsenal and Palace have done so. Whilst it's good for the grass roots teams to get tickets I can't deal with the screeching women who were giving it large to the Middlesbrough fans yesterday - cringe

I thought Boro bought about the most so far this season, obviously if Arsenal and Palace sold out i'm mistaken, but Boro travelled well I thought.

2,600 sold why the didn't take the full allocation I'll never know.

Because I believe rules state we have to offer the full 10% but if the club takes it they have to cover any unsold tickets. Whilst I guess 18000 quid is nothing to premier league clubs. If they don't think they can shift them all. Why take the risk.

Borough to be fair to then have sold out every fixture so far bar Sunderland which they had reduced allocation for previous trouble and standing.

L1 were chanting "Is that all you bring away" to Brugge when the allocation was reduced by us ffs

Abit off topic but with the family stand being next to away supporters,

why are they doing bag checks in this stand alone,

yestadays game and Brugge had massive tailbacks and both took 15 mins to get in,

when I asked why the said it's for security,

but haven't seen ques in other areas

Reduced by the Belgian police , we were following orders to reduce

the frogs have been naughty and their local laws mean the police can restrict travelling numbers

Ah ok,I did have a look yestaday but didn't see any big que's,

the one in the family stand seem to be massive, wonder if it gonna be an ongoing thing,

that nice Scottish bloke who does the tours and goes on the away game coaches seemed annoyed by it at both games, was outside recording it and blowing his top which was good to see

I tend to get there early so don't see any ques anywhere

wonder if there has been any security concerns that obviously we wouldn't we aware of

Always thought it was similar to what someone said in this thread. If they can't sell out they have to cover the costs because we can sell them therefore losing out on x amount of money.

I think there making a big issue out of the Copenhagen game,

i bet UEFA had a field day fining us,

especially after palace fans I think it was set a flare off the weekend befour the Copenhagen home game, they upped security for the Copenhagen game only for more flares to go off:D

i just think it's fair to say we're a relatively good bunch of fans that don't let off flares at home games, there to must risk involved i.e. Banning orders etc, they should put all the efforts into the minority that is the away fans rather than the majority

I thought UEFA didn't fine us for that

but certainly could be because of that

I might be wrong,

am sure I read somewhere that we would get a fine,or maybe just got threatened with a substantial fine if it happens again hence the extra security

There are bag searches the other side of the away fans too at the turnstiles into K block. No real queues, but most don't take bags in - maybe a lot more bags being taken into family stand with stuff for children?

UEFA didn't fine us for Copenhagen, and the Palace game was after the Copenhagen game.
