bigDfox33 Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 Ok guys lets face reality... Ranieri.... is he what we all thought he was? I loved him last season when we was winning, he said the right things in his interviews, is humble, a very nice, likeable man and did seem to make some very good decisions last season with changes to the team in the form of substitutions... Since the loss of Walsh our team has gone down hill, maybe he was the man who put the winning team together with signings like Kante! Who I think everyone can agree was like losing 2 men in the squad! You have to sit and wonder why we did win the premier league last season! Was it Pearson who put the winning squad together, the great escape, the team spirit? Maybe Ranieri came in to cheer things up with his Charisma, but what exactly did he do apart from bring the smile to LCFC? The team was already formed, the 4/4/2 came into play and we started to win Now the Question is.... HAS Ranieri Tinkered too much? We are not the same squad we was last season, the squad picked itself week in week out, so now Ranieri has more choice of players, is he to blame for not changing things such as the Formation at least? All our new signings are from Europe, they seem to take an age to settle into the Premier League Pace, Why can we not buy some quality players that are already in the Prem who can come in and get the job done? With Walsh out of the equation, I feel our new signings are going to be poor! I like Ranieri and I just have to question him a bit and if we look at the facts, I don't think he was the reason we won the Premier League as it wasn't his Team Selection. Just food for thought.
foxes21 Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 If anything, he hasn't tinkered enough. The lack of squad rotation has made our players so tired.
VLC86 Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 Not at all, he needs to be brave but doesn't seam to have the balls at the minute. That said, far too many problems with form and not enough players. Complete shambles

Champions league games with only one sub being made comes to mind. Defence have barely been rotated and they're all old, I think it is affecting Fuchs the most.
cc_star Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 Odd phrasing He hasn't changed a thing and that's the problem The 'stars' need dropping & hungry players need to come in The formation may work if the tactics were right but we don't cover the defence well enough so we're very easy to score past If he changes the tactics to cover defence better, defend in numbers and hit on the counter (not long ball) we would be fine, but we're trying to play higher up the pitch with more of the ball, not less. Sit deep, no... deeper, defend cleansheets with your life and then the results will turnaround If he doesn't change the tactics or the personnel, HE will be changed
bigDfox33 Posted 3 December 2016 Author Posted 3 December 2016 But he has changed players like musa, amartey, king, slimani, were all not present last season.

l444ry Posted 3 December 2016 Posted 3 December 2016 Plenty of hysteria and over reaction. Things ain't ideal but there is no simple solution to this mess, despite many attempts to paint it that way.

We are in for a long season and one hell of a dogfight. We need that hunger back!

TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Tinkerman? Think tinkerbell could do a better job in charge of our side at the moment

Fox92 Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Hasn't changed enough. Should have been tougher and bought in better players. That said, his signings are questionable. Our better players are generally Pearson/Walsh signings (aside from Gray). Losing Walsh was huge.
