The thing that annoyed me with the race today (other than nothing happening) was during qualifying there was excitable comments about how close Vettel and the like were to breaking the lap record set by Schumacher so many years ago. No surprise then that when Perez breaks the lap record they go on to say how the track is different to what it used to be so it's not a true lap record!! 

It's just like any sport only the big teams are allowed to break records and be commended for doing so.

Today is exactly why Vettel is going to win the championship, anybody who doesn't believe that switch was deliberate doesn't have a clue about F1 or particularly Ferrari

Just a totally different thing with the 500. You have no idea who is going to win it, as opposed to most F1 races.

 

I think the F1 drivers have the most skill, but that doesn't always translate into viewer excitement.
