Didn't they completely DQ Schumacher for ramming Villeneuve in 97?

Yes... but if I recall correctly Villeneuve had won the Championship anyway and what Schumacher lost was 2nd place in the Championship which was unlikely to matter much to him.

Now Vettel regrets what happened at Baku and issues his apology publicly.

This comes after being let off the hook by Todt and Ferrari International Aid of course.

The FA could learn a few tricks from this.  Put Fergie in charge of the disciplinary board and Man Utd players would have a field day.

After his 5 place grid penalty this season is treading a very similar pattern to last year for Hamilton. Niggle after niggle, will probably end up winning the last few races but falling short of Mr Road Rage

Hamilton is always a target for F1 administration, it seems he gets punished more than anybody else. Clearly a gear box change is more serious than purposely crashing into another car / driver.

F1 is racist in more ways than one.

In fairness I don't really agree he gets targeted more than anybody else, amusing because a lot of haters can't stop going on about how much he gets away with.

Verstappen & Alonso already out.

Frantic start/first lap.

So frustrating seeing Verstappen get so unlucky race after race. No chance Kyvat gets a Toro Rosso seat next year after another incident. Feel sorry for the thousands of Dutch fans that came over to support Max to not even see him complete a lap.

The future of the British GP looks very bleak

They're just using an opportunity to get out of a bad deal and banking on the new rights holders of F1 being more sympathetic to their position (they don't get government funding like many other tracks) - the last 2 years the company behind the track has run at a loss and they're attributing that mainly to the Grand Prix.

It'll probably work too, because those running things in F1 wouldn't dare take the British GP off the calendar, that would be PR suicide. What we may see however is it alternating venues every other year? So long as we don't end up with another superficial street circuit, all will be good in the end.
