Vettel expertly placed ahead of Raikkonen yet again was wondering from the moment his wing fell apart how he'd finish ahead. Kimi had done about 15 laps less than Vettel on his super softs by the time he came in again. Thought at first when Vettel/Ferrari did a u-turn on him stopping again that that was it, but then they'd have nothing to lose by pitting him a little later when he would always catch and pass Kimi on fresher tyres, the ideal reason for him genuinely passing and not being let through

 

Wouldn't go as far as saying Kimi going deep into the last chicane was planned, his problems later on justified that
