LiberalFox Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 People only started caring about nukes when the right wing media told them they were supposed to care.

Charl91 Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 Corbyn got crucified there. Random labour plant saves the day! I like Corbyn, and I agree with him, but that didn't look good.

Analogy.....People keep guard dogs, baseball bats to protect there homes, most hope to never use them, but if needed to protect there children would do, even if that meant taking the bat or the dog access the road to nullify it first. I've got Mrs Singh, she is the biggest deterrent and more powerful then any nuclear weapon
Bobby Hundreds Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 "I run a small business but ****ed if I'm paying someone on minimum wage a bit more"
LiberalFox Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 We don't even have an independent deterrent. We ought to share with the French and get the EU nations to spread the cost.
The Floyd Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 Finally someone bringing up the ridiculous increase in minimum wage.
Guest Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 Funny world that somebody calling to not use nukes is considered more strange than people suggesting nuclear war against iran or north korea!
Captain... Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 2 minutes ago, toddybad said: What is this obsession with nuclear weapons on the right? We clearly won't and can't ever use them. Why pretend otherwise? Because it is an easy stick to beat Corbyn with. I don't know why he didn't respond to a couple of those by clarifying the Labour Party are renewing trident. The questioners seemed to be implying he was scrapping trident. I also don't understand why he can't just say that he would use it if circumstances deemed it necessary. We will never have to use trident, we have enough conventional fire power to blow North Korea off the map.
Bryn Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 He'll get slammed for his answers on nuclear weapons there but I fully back his stance. He's already said we'll renew Trident. He's said he won't use them first. He's not said he won't use them in retaliation, and frankly what ****ing difference does it make to those of us who are vaporised if he does? He's made a principled stand against relishing the annihilation of millions of equally innocent civilians by launching our nukes in return. He makes the point that if global politics descends that far, into nuclear war, we are absolutely and unequivocally ****ed and he's absolutely right. If you don't understand that you're a dangerous idiot.

So today, the largest mass of troops across any border is the Kashmir line of control, there are over 1 million troops, the only thing that is stopping India wiping Pakistan off this earth is Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. Tomorrow, it will be India v China, or India Russia, times change enemies change
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 Having read about all the times the Americans have almost detonated nuclear weapons by accident, I think the best thing to do is just pretend to have them. Who's going to know if the missiles are full of the little plastic beads that are used to fill bean bags? Nobody, that's who

Guest Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 The right wing have actually come out to play tonight! Sorry I'm a few minutes behind as paused it when getting bored by may. Company directors need to have it turned round that they're paying their staff less than they can survive on.
Guest Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 Haha the posh kid student got giveth a question which corbyn answered really well and then he was screwed trying to go back
Bryn Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 We really need to start teaching the history of the British Empire properly in schools, the amount of women and children British soldiers have killed over the centuries.
Captain... Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 The IRA question again, along with Trident are just so irrelevant. It must be very boring being a politician having to answer the same questions over and over again. Especially when the answers are all readily available to anyone with access to google.

Would you also want them to teach the good parts of the British Empire and the benefits it brought?

For what purpose??? Comming from a background that have been on the brunt of British terror. This isnt the same Britian
Guest Posted 2 June 2017 Posted 2 June 2017 Still behind the rest of you. I'm near the end thinking that may had easier questions and had probably won tonight.

Imagine WANTING a Premiership who will fling nukes at innocent people, and who wouldn't encourage a peace process and therefore endlessly extend a conflict just because of what's gone before.
