Think it's more a case of him being happy playing. Which is why he left Spurs for Swansea. I can't see him leaving unless he thinks he will be playing week in week out. He's 1st name on the team sheet at Swansea.

He would be. I just can't see him going to any of the Big 6 after what he experienced at Spurs as they won't guarantee he will play. Hence it makes sense for us or Everton to have the best chance as we should be a top half side pushing Europe if we buy well and he will play. He's 27 so a 4-5 year 120k a week contract would tempt most in his situation. And 30m + improved contract his agent will be on a good whack too.

 

Swansea are on the precipice of relegation if they don't overhaul their squad. Not many players stay at a side they are carrying themselves away from relegation. Llorente is a good player tbf but 32. Nobody becomes a player as good as Sigurdsson without having a competitive streak.

Exactly this. And I'm not sure Swansea have the funds to overhaul their squad, so hopefully that's rules him out staying there
