If Everton land Keane, Sigurdsson and Vardy they've fvcking stormed the window.

Well Walshy wanted two of those last summer and somehow the champions of England couldn't make it happen for him .....

So Everton would now pay £50m for a 30 year old striker? I think not.

Who's only real asset is his pace. Lets be honest once his pace goes hes done. Walsh will also know it could take him best part of the season to settle.

He's quite the finisher, however. He'll have a year or two off of that alone.

James Nursey has become the master of staying the bleeding obvious of late and has clearly been making stories up. I would take everything he says with a pinch of salt.

I don't know James Nursey

The person I know works for Everton

But that doesn't make him right

I'm not saying he can't finish. But a huge part of his game is his pace. Once that goes he won't be so prolific.

Just a thought - if vardys people think mahrez may  end up getting an improved deal  should he stay, perhaps they are manufacturing an offer for their client  as were their tactics last year where they got him a deal from West Ham and then Arsenal to use to their advantage in any negotiations

No need for us to give him a better deal. No release clause and 3 years left on his contract.

Mahrez ain't getting an improved deal even if he stays. The way he's repaid the club for his last deal he's lucky we are not taking legal advice.

Mahrez is to be sold I suspect just before or after season starts , he is a destabilising factor in the dressing room , his agent has been told 50m is the price

Vardy going no where and Getting NO new deal

Gylfi is not coming to Leicester , he already has advanced discussions else where

Sandro Ramirez has just been spotted meeting Steve Walsh in Liverpool. He's Lukaku's replacement, so Vardy is not going to Everton!!

They are paying 5 million quid for this kid - he's only 22. you think he is going to be lukaku's straight replacement?

Ex Barca player, 16 goals and 5 assists last season. Yes he'll be Lukaku's replacement.

They'd have had to pay in the region of 20-30million if it wasn't for the release clause.

I think we all know this but it's sad to see it in black and white every time it's posted

re vards - his agent wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't trying to see if a little increment wasn't possible for his client??

When Riyad goes, who is going to stabilise  slimani ?  How many French speakers are left?  Papy is too short to speak to slim!

Apologies - I didn't realise he had a release clause. However, to bring a 22 year old into the PL and expect him to lead the line, week in week out is a punt. They must buy another option to be safe - they will have plenty of Europe league ties too.

No wonder Walsh left. Meetings in a restaurant like that or Morrison's cafe. No brainer really.

I think I'm going to stay away from the transfer window threads this year.

No good can come from being in here.

I'm really not convinced that all is well between Walsh and Koeman. Klaasen from Ajax has got Koeman written all over it.

Everton made a big play to go for a top recruiter as DOF and now have a manager who seems to want to make his own decisions in that department. Seems a bit of a mess to me.

Walsh looks like he wants Vardy and Gylfi.

Koeman wants to play 4-3-3 and traditionally uses a 'target man' as a striker. Like Pelle. Koeman wanting to play 4-3-3 hence him wanting Klaassn, a goal scoring midfielder who operates in a 3 to compliment Schneiderlin who will sit& Gueye who will press and play the shuttle role.

I saw an Everton fan saying if Barkley stayed and they signed Sigurdsson they would play 3-4-3 with Barkley and Gylfi as part of the front three, almost like a 3-4-2-1.

When we don't sign anybody of note and get pillaged, you'll be happy you made that choice.

We're a mardy, sour bunch.
