He has 39 goals in the last two seasons+the arsenal game. That's amazing. I don't think its really far fetched to call him the best player in the club, right? Yes riyad on form is by far the best player, but the keyword is "on form", in the last 2something years, apart from when most of the team was struggling last season, he preformed consistently. He is underrated by many people in the PL, when I'm watching arsenal or pool I just start wondering how good vardy would be with that service. I agree look at luka for utd and vardy does it with us .

bovril Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was Vardy (or any professional footballer) I'd have a cocaine-fuelled orgy most nights and end up on penniless on the streets before I was 30.
SkidsFox Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 Start looking for an agent who will get him a 200k a week deal?
shade Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 if i was vardy i'd be made up, two premiership titles in 3 years with leicester city? who would have thought it?

Trav Le Bleu Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 I wish I lived in this magic land where just because we want other team's players we can get them.

But I do wonder whether Vardy has finally become too good for Leicester City. Unless he's really really happy (he could be), he must look back at some of the team behind him now and think he could have done better really. I now see him as a very very good striker who could actually command a place in most of the top clubs. Eg. Liverpool.. How much better would they be with a Jamie Vardy up front. I think if we don't improve much this season then there's two players who have "earned" the right to leave, Kasper and Vards. Unfortunately they're two of the three players I'd most like us to keep (Ndidi is the third.)
cosb6 Posted 15 August 2017 Posted 15 August 2017 If we're having scorelines like 4-3, why leave. He could be the Premier League TOP Scorer, and that doesn't happen if it's 0-0 or 1-0 every week.
