Vlad the Fox Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was Vardy I would be thinking how great it was that the boys created some great chances for him against one of the top teams in the league, and we managed to score 3 goals. I'd then go and lock myself in the cubicle with some vodka and Charlie while Shakespeare bollocked the defence.

Would'nt be surprised to see Vardy go by the end of the transfer window or January. Sort yourself out.....

He has 39 goals in the last two seasons+the arsenal game. That's amazing. I don't think its really far fetched to call him the best player in the club, right? Yes riyad on form is by far the best player, but the keyword is "on form", in the last 2something years, apart from when most of the team was struggling last season, he preformed consistently. He is underrated by many people in the PL, when I'm watching arsenal or pool I just start wondering how good vardy would be with that service. He's one of the most intelligent players we've had in a long time. Miles ahead of most of our squad and our entire style of play is built around how he plays. Totally agree, I think most people can see he would bag even more goals with a better service.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was Vardy, I'd think that my defence conceded 4 goals against one of the best attacking teams in the league and I'm probably going to wait to see how we do after a few games once everyone is back up to match fitness before I go and make a c*ck of myself.

Back in his early Leicester days I thought he was absolutely useless - can't remember what game it was but he came on and gave away a stupid penalty and it made me rage. He seems like a totally different player now, great touch, clinical and scares the shit out of top defenders.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was vardy I'd walk round town like this
Guest Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was Vardy I'd get my agent to talk someone into redoing steptoe and son and getting me a leading role.
RumbleFox Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 Technically, if you were Vardy then, well, you would be Vardy so you would do whatever it is Vardy is going to do and not what some nobber on Foxestalk says he would do if he were you. X
Number 6 Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If Arsenal had managed to sign him last year they'd be in the CL this season. He's getting better as a player and looks well up for it this season. If we have an in form Vardy then we'll be nowhere near the relegation spots, simple.
Beliall Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was Vardy I would be putting Chiili Powder in Riyads boxers

Babylon Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 FFS.... I don't think I've ever seen us beat Arsenal, or do much but lose there. Now our best player and the manager will want to leave and get fired before Christmas because we've carried on that trend.

MrSpaM Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 Jesus christ this thread It's one game against Arsenal FFS!

For me, Vardy is still improving and was sensational last Friday, but also so hard-working throughout the game. It must be galling for him to look back and see the goals leaking in at the other end. Can't imagine what he must think about Mahrez's lack of application.

Also, look for perma-spit gushing out of the corners of their mouth. Harry Kane?
foxy boxing Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 If I was Vardy I'd keep my head down, carry on scoring goals and playing well and getting paid handsomely for it and try and work on a good partnership with whoever is partnering me, be it Okazaki, Kalechi or Slimani! and work hard for the team and lead by example.as well as bringing the dressing room together to get every player at the club to bring there all on the battlefield!
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 I don't base this on any knowledge on the subject, nor on just the Arsenal game. But I do wonder whether Vardy has finally become too good for Leicester City. Unless he's really really happy (he could be), he must look back at some of the team behind him now and think he could have done better really. I now see him as a very very good striker who could actually command a place in most of the top clubs. Eg. Liverpool.. How much better would they be with a Jamie Vardy up front.

brucey Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 Vardy said in his post match interview that "loss of concentration cost us". He's not blaming Shakey. He also loves us and his new rural Leicestershire lifestyle.
