Do we still need a back 4?

Maguire is proving solid in defence, why not play a back 3?

We have more depth in midfield and plenty of attacking options, we should use them.

Discuss.

We can't draw many conclusions from today's game. Brighton looked out of their depth and we won't have an easier game all season.

Why change a formula that appears to be working well? Think we've looked very good in a 4-4-2 in the first 2 games.

We don't really have proper wing backs on either side or enough depth to play with 3 CBs.

Albrighton and Fuchs could be the full backs but it would be a little square peg/round hole.

If you went 3-5-2 I would quite like to see Vards and Nacho/Shinji up top with Riyad behind them in the middle though.

Please no more Simpson is the weak link or anything of that ilk.

He's consistently excellent at RB.

Just as I turned to my son to say Simpson's having a good a game he passed the ball straight to a Brighton player not 10 feet away :P
