dorsetboy Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Dragovic ,silva,Maguire, nachoman and kept mahrez, vardy and Kasper and slimani . Got to be happy with that tbh Silva and slimani could have some great chemistry from their time at sporting

Vacamion Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 People who expected the Prem winning team to stay together forever are waking up to the reality of new faces, different times. No point getting upset about that. If Silva signs, we've had a stormer.
tom27111 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 I don't want to bring the mood down, but Silva and Iborra might not adjust to the league. It is only a might. Midfield is a tough position in this league. Dragovic on loan, so we can't really lose on that. Mahrez might be a sulky bastard. Maguire looks great and Iheanacho should be too. Overall if if had to rate it, maybe a B/B- We could have done with moving some on and bringing others in. Only time will tell.
Lesterlad Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Drinkwater was a quality player for us but to lose only one first team player, and bring in 5 players who should all be able to do a job for us then that is a good window. Well done City
TheLittleBigMan Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Compared to the last window's, this one is the full boner.
davieG Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Are championship loans still allowed. They used to be on a couple of weeks after the window shut. So Musa could still go to Hull.
STUHILL Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Very happy with our business in this window. Would have liked a young RB to cover Simpson but I guess Amartey will be adequate for now. Not that fussed about Drinkwater as I honestly think Silva could be a slight upgrade. Will wait and see though. Mahrez staying is a blessing and I'm pleased to still have Slimani here. Dragovic I hope can be an instant success alongside Maguire. Really positive window from us. Hats off too those involved for a change
Guest the fox Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 upgrading the reserve kepper, defence, midfield and attack while keeping the big 3 (vardy, Kasper and riyad) Honestly, this was a RB short of a 10/10 transfer window

MF: Albrighton, N'Didi, Amartey, James, Iborra, Silva, King, Mahrez, Gray: FWD: Vardy, Iheanacho, Slimani, Okazaki, Musa, Ulloa: That ain't a bad squad you know ! If we manage to combine that into the right stating IX then we could be looking at a top 8 finish. More than enough talent in there

Just wait until we have to sell Maguire back to Hull for £30m because of a clause and they sell him to Man City the next day for £150m
