Shakey said he is leaving it to #LCFC hierachy whether they take the Silva saga to CAS.

Shouldn't he be insisting that we pursue this to the limit....he's coming across as a very weak manager in all this imo

It's probably got nothing to do with shakey it will be the team around him with the evidence etc if they think they have a chance I'm sure they'll do it.

Desperate desperate times when you have to wax lyrical about the likes of Matty James and Andy King!!...

Take the rose tinted specs off and realise that both are NOT good enough. I know they're all we have though!!!... And that is quite unbelievable and infuriating.

Feel sorry for Ndidi, playing in a two with either James or King is making the guy look poor as he's having to do too much work.

Until we have Silva available it's just a matter of muddling through and hoping for the best...

Thanks for that Rudders!!!

But even when we have Silva, that won't change the fact that we will be outnumbered in the MF. In fact, it will likely be worse, as Silva likes to get fwd more than any MF we have at present, leaving just Ndidi to face the counter. He defends hard, always fights to get back, but we will still need James or Iborra.

We are not the only team that plays 4-4-2

We aren't - this is true.  But I think we play the widest 4 across the middle of those that do and I'm not sure how many play a conventional 4-4 away from home.

Yes, I agree, we play with old fashioned wingers but Albrighton is good defensilvely.

When we don't have possession we are supposed to play compactly - two banks of four, that was what our success was built on in 2016.

Perhaps it is just a lack of quality in the middle.

Not sure if he's been poor of late, or made a great start to life at the club and has somewhat been on/off in individual performance and has been just ok since.

Or just needs someone half-decent to play alongside.
