lcfcsnow Posted 24 October 2017 Posted 24 October 2017 Everton players want Unsworth to get the job apparently, they’ll be redoubling their efforts on Sunday similar to the Shakespeare effect here. No mention of any snakes though, of course.

(Daily Mirror) Everton want former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti to come back to the Premier League and be their new boss, but the Italian wants Swansea boss Paul Clement as his assistant. (Sun) Everton want to hijack Leicester's move to make Burnley's Sean Dyche their new manager. (Daily Express) Dyche is Everton's top target and could cost them £2.5m in compensation, while an outside option is for Toffees Under-23s manager David Unsworth to take the job until the end of the season. (Telegraph) David Unsworth is to take temporary charge of Everton and wants to manage the club long term. (Guardian) Watford boss Marco Silva is Jamie Carragher's pick to succeed Ronald Koeman at Everton. (Daily Telegraph) Ronald Koeman had stopped talking to his players before his sacking as Evertonmanager. (Times - subscription required) They can have dyche as far as I’m concerned. I’d rather have Koeman.

Look at the comparisons we were after both Keane and Siggudson. Walsh is not free of blame here. As for Koeman don't like him as a person arrogant Dutchman but his previous record in the premier league suggests he is a good manager. I agree Walsh is also culpable just as he was at Leicester.
goose2010 Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Surely Koeman will go back to Holland / get the national job. Lots of reports of him having gagging orders on Liverpool press regarding a few 'personal' stories.... We is meant to be a nasty piece of work.
