Finley Parsons Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Sky sources are reporting that Koeman has been sacked. I would definitely have him down as a contender for the job however it may be a bit too soon. This has obviously fell at the wrong time as we have them next and all off a sudden the Everton players will be up for it. However would happily have him at City.
AKCJ Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 If he has been sacked then we need to be on it and get him as soon as possible.
Dan Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 How utterly predictable. Competition for a manager and now they'll go and have their bounce against us.
Lovejoy Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Ah shit, hoped they'd give him at least one more game.
cc_star Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 No ta... out of the non-Ancelotti names mentioned, who'd have a chance of coming I'd say Pelligrini

Tielemans63 Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Wow. Didn't they announce that he had the board's backing just this morning? Wow.
Babylon Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Novel idea... hire a manager that's got recent history of succeeding at their last few clubs on an upwards curve. Not a manager just sacked for being horrific and slated for trotting out slow predictable boring football that doesn't even get points.
Carl the Llama Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 What do people expect Koeman to be able to do for us that he couldn't do for a bigger spending Everton team who current sit below us on points and with a vastly inferior goal difference after a similarly difficult opening 9 games?
davieG Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Everton Football Club can confirm that Ronald Koeman has left the Club. Chairman Bill Kenwright, the Board of Directors and Major Shareholder Farhad Moshiri would all like to express their gratitude to Ronald for the service he has given to the Club over the past 16 months and for guiding the Club to seventh place in last season’s Premier League campaign.

Everyone but Steve Walsh?

Manager sacked (normally happens about 2 weeks after the board backed him).
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Would have him here, he's a good manager who crumbled under expectations and bad recruitment at Everton. Downside is I'd like Walsh back and Walsh and Koeman don't seem to get along
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Don't want that ginger, moaning c unt or the other one either. Pisses me off that they f uck him off straight before we play them, though.
Always Next Year Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Having got rid of one contender for the Championship why should we want to employ another one, what's he done to deserve a job as our manager. NOTHING !!!!!!!
TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Looks like we will be having Appleton a bit longer then... If we're looking at similar names, I can imagine Everton is the more attractive club.

Redouane Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Seriously? We can't be teased with Pellegrini then have to settle with Koeman

The only ones he was allowed to bring in were Vlasic (and look how good he was yesterday! Shining light for them) and the lad on loan at Anderlecht doing brilliantly!
