As a scout, he's not a scout anymore and he's less experienced than rudkin and put his club in the relegation zone with a worse looking team than ours. But yeah sod it let's get him back, let's get Brian little too while we are at it just all on sentiment

And Rudkin put us in the relegation zone so what's your point? yes we dominated the game on saturday but the reality is we are only out of the relegation zone because of an own goal scored on our behalf.

People need to  understand that there is no hard fast set of roles that a director of football needs to abide by. Some are more hands on with regards to the football side of things some have more of an administrative role.

I'd rather have the man back at the club who is responsible for identifying the players who won us the premier league with someone else handling negociations than Rudkin who appears to have little effect on the playing side and identifying plkayers.

Besides, i asm pretty sure Everton were always going to get Rooney back no matter what Walsh would of advised. Koeman also made it clear he wanted  Giroud and no one else so when that fell through they were left with 3 number 10s and no out and out striker. Cant blame walsh for that.

Besides, Rudkin  and ONLY Rudkin is responsible for the farce of Drinkly going so late leaving it a pressure keg that allowed the Silva deal  to be deklayed. it was known for weeks that Drinky wanted to leave and so why didnt Rudkin, in all his experience as you put it, allow this situation to develop?

I see absolutely Nothing that Rudkin offers this club that another business head can do, but there's very few people like Walsh around that can aquire the players he did for Leicester when he did. Its baffling to me that someone wouyld want Rudkin at this club over Walsh

This has gotten ridiculous and again is why I'm posting less and less.

In what world did 'Rudkin put us in the relegation zone'?

What?

The players put us in the relegation zone by playing shitley and Shakespeare put us in the relegation zone by picking the wrong teams, wrong formations and dodgy substitutions.

I have no feeling for Jon bloody Rudkin whatsoever...I can't do, I don't know the man (do you?)

But I'm sure if you try hard enough you can pin the Kennedy assassination on him?

You get my point?

it's simply meant in the context that if Walsh was responsible for putting Everton in the relegation zone then so was Rudkin for us.

Try reading things in the context they are intended and then you wont get your knickers in a twist

Whoa there Col ...   Shakey didn't want us to sell DD ...   So who sold him ? ...   Shakey would have loved to have Silva to play for him ...   Who fooked that up ??

And when Trump, as promised, opens up the JFK files ...    Then you'll see !!

DD effectively sold himself, how can a club turn down that kind of money for him, it is ran as a business at the end of the day and I'm sure the club didn't want another mahrez situation on our hands

And sporting ****ed up the Silva deal, how clear does the club have to make it?! Jesus

In fairness DD asked for a transfer and got it

On the other hand so did RM and we kept hold of our most valuable asset

And we did think we had Silva in the bag.........

Everton sold Lukaku and didn;t have a replacement ......  they knew he was going

Oh, great.

Just jump onto the most recently sacked manager in the Premier League who failed rather miserably at Everton and who only got that job because of his name.

Shades of De Boer.

No, thank you. Rather look someplace else. If need be, under a rock.

Koeman had a hard set of opening fixtures (harder than us) and has played a few Europa teams inbetween that I've not heard of. Yes he spent money (so have we) but he lost his best player (we didn't). His team were left with no attacking pace (we have no midfield).

And we sacked our manager!

Football gods were against the man and it seems most on here think he's not suitable. Our ambition is not top 6! I would accept him like a shot.

However; he won't come. You lot are going to be so disappointed when a manager is named.

None of it had to of waited until the last day, we could of got it all done sooner. There was no need to wait until the last couple of days to accept bids that were on the table for DD and no need to wait so late to start negotiations for Silva no matter who you think messed it up in the end.

Come on Col, you know the JFK assassination was a feat of expert timing and planning. If there's one thing we can be certain of, it's that Rudders would have missed the deadline and shot someone in the crowd by accident 14 seconds later lol

So you'd rather have us spend 105million on Pickford Keane and siggy? **** Steve Walsh he's killed Everton this season

Steve's only good even you force him to root around the dustbins of European football for good finds. Give him enough money to dine in he finest restaurants and he'll be in A&E with a heart failure within a week.
