weller54 Posted 11 February 2018 Posted 11 February 2018 James James Matty Matty James Gets the ball And does fvck all Matty Matty James! 1
kingfox Posted 11 February 2018 Posted 11 February 2018 Where the fvck were you lot when he outplayed Chelsea's midfield? Where the fvck were you lot when he put in some decent performances before he got injured? And don't tell me he was shit in the Arsenal and Man Utd away games because he wasn't. Albeit for Barnsley he created more than Drinkwater last season and played 15 less games. 1
sm1 Posted 11 February 2018 Posted 11 February 2018 Whats the point of Matty James?.... Easy to model clothes for LCFC. Sexy Beast
Bayfox Posted 11 February 2018 Posted 11 February 2018 So that now kingy has gone you can find someone else to blame?
Guest Posted 11 February 2018 Posted 11 February 2018 (edited) good player. Played well yesterday. People who don't understand football and think that if you don't have a goal or an assist next to your name you did nothing wouldn't understand how good he is. Has become the new Ritchie Wellens for some. Edited 11 February 2018 by Guest

I said all this season on here that Ndidi was doing too much work when playing alongside James. Still, James will have a good game next time out as it's only Stoke. He's looked good in games against Brighton and Watford.

Vardy, and Diabaté good and James and Silva above average. Our team played better in that match than in some where we've taken points but I don't expect you to understand my thoughts or thinking.

Danny Drinkwater doesn’t play for Leicester City anymore. So any current or historical comparison of a current Leicester City player to him is completely irrelevant. But seeing as you did so, I’ll indulge and say that had Drinkwater been playing in the Championship last season and James in the Premier League, those “created” stats (whatever that means) would be reversed.

We've been too reliant on Ndidi many times this season, Iborra came in and seemed to of steadied the ship, then he kept giving the ball away and rightfully got benched. Why no mention of the Chelsea game where you could of easily gave him MOTM, guess that doesn't count as they're in a shit run of form. And as I've already said, he was poor against Everton and poor yesterday yet so were many others. Many were calling that Everton performance the worst of the season for many reasons. Why single James out? If those two games were anything to go by then most of the squad is not good enough. 32 minutes ago, chicagofox said: This old chestnut. Midfield works better without him. He's not fit enough to be box to box. So what player is he? Edited 11 February 2018 by Fox92

Arsenal game we were 3-2 ahead with him on the pitch, he made no key errors and when he went off we conceded two and lost the game. Against Man Utd he didn't make any errors, they struggled to break us down till about 70 minutes. Now you're sounding like Col as if every midfielder should be a box to box. Matty James is a workhorse, shown it in the Championship and has shown it in the Premier League, does the unfashionable work that doesn't get enough recognition. Edited 11 February 2018 by kingfox

Never said every midfielder should be box to box but considering we have two ball winning midfielders already we should have a proper box to box midfielder who will score goals. He had a good chance at Everton, at the back post, but he's not fit enough to get up there and still make the chance - somelike like Izzet would have scored that chance. I like James, I think he's a tidy footballer, I just don't think he's the option to play against the big sides.

He does, always has done, tidy player who is capable of driving forward and is capable of doing defensive work. James has made more interceptions than Iborra this season. James is a role model for aspiring models.
