There are an unbelieivable amount of bars in Madrid showing the football & I hate to give a chain my recomendation but O'Neills is bound to have it on & will be a good place to watch with a bit of atmosphere.

It sounds like you're not a fan that has travelled much watching football then

Just because things are not on the news doesn't mean they haven't occurred!

I do travel alot. I didn't say it didn't happen. I witnessed it happening with my own eyes.

You lot make it sound such a wonderful city do you work for the Madrid tourist board.

 

So if the OP while being tortured don't let slip he's English and a Leicester City fan he should get away with just broken arms and legs.

lol I'm sure he'll have a great time as he isn't part of an away following, the overly aggressive police aside. It's a lovely city

Madrid is a wonderful city though? 

 

Even for the game in the champions league I had a wonderful time just by simply avoiding the areas with all of the shirtless, drunk idiots congregating and never had a single bit of bother from the police.
