A pint of madri which is on par with peroni and carling as utterly disgusting

Pairing peroni and carling is a bit harsh on peroni, peroni isnt great but still a lot nicer than worst of the worst carling

Nice, loved Vietnam. Local beer looks a lot more sophisticated than it was when I was there.

Enjoy the beer and your trip!

Contrarian view isn’t it and I’m in a minority in hating madri and peroni I know. Had some lovely Atlantic ipa’s afterwards

Yeah it's cracking mate. I think it was you that put me on to 2be where I might have had it first. One of the most beautiful spots to sit and drink a beer.

Absolutely that is one of the best places to have a beer. Will be there in a few weeks.

dry pal, that headache of yours tomorrow will be vicious

Sadly it was gone before I got back there. Swapped it for Grimbergen.

Obviously not a session beer, but really like Leffe. 6.6% so it has a kick.

Used to love leffe but I’ve found it tips me over the edge these days. Had one pint (after many other branded beers..) in leuven during the pre season games and a couple of times recently in spoons pubs after a few other pints. Each time I’ve stopped drinking after the leffe and had to get a taxi home

Which one? I'm partial to a Grimbergen Blonde myself but find the Ambree a bit too full on flavour-wise.

Definitely not to drink in large amounts ! I had a couple last night, but was the last couple after having much weaker beers.

If l drink a lager type bevvie, l prefer a stronger one.

I generally prefer an English ale, such as Tiger though .
