You sound like a right old codger!

:P

I was going to qualify my original rant by saying I am in general a miserable bastard who hates change.

Watching Leicester City has prematurely aged you.

If people have lost interest then move on. There's plenty more in life and many others will replace you at the football.

That’s true but kids nowadays are more into fortnite than into sports.

Not sure that is necessarily the case, my 15 year old son and friends are certainly into fortnite and gaming generally like most teenagers,  but nearly all are also interested in sport. My son loves his computer but also trains on Saturdays and  plays on Sundays for his local u16 side as well as being an LCFC season ticket holder. He prefers watching football live to watching on TV. Many of his friends regularly participate in sports themselves (a range of different sports - football, basketball, hockey) and also support their teams in person as well as online/ on screen and see the value in this.  There’s hope for the younger generation! I enjoyed his u16 game today more than LCFC yesterday too ?

I rarely go down now although I watch/stream most matches.

I don’t think about Leicester much until the weekends/matchday. I have other things going on now though, my son is not into football, nor my wife and daughter. So it’s a fairly lonely hobby these days.

If season tickets were readily available, I’d probably still get two and force my kids to come down alternately.

You should buy 2 season tickets and take your dog along. About time its arse got to sit down.

I'm not sure if I'm losing interest in football generally or not.

I didn't bother watching any FA Cup last week but I'll watch nearly every Prem game and decent looking champ game on the TV.

I am just about watching every Leicester game on a stream but I barely get excited about it anymore and I'm not bothered if I miss a game. This is coming from someone who had a 240mile round trip to Leicester and a season ticket for the last 14 years. I've been to 2 games, both away from home, and I'm not going to go to anymore with the turd we offer up now.

Maybe it's because we've completed the dream already, but I think it's because we're not going to get relegated and not going to challenge for the top 6.

I can't see us coming 7th with Puel in charge so the competitive element of enjoyment has gone for me and I struggle to enjoy meaningless football.

Maybe I'm getting older and more boring too!

I was away for this match and have not watched any highlights or the goals which is a first, its losing its fun to watch Lcfc.  Would be great to enjoy some home games for a change but can't help but feel watching the rest of the season will be a waste of effort most of the time.

When it comes to club football I only watch Leicester games and couldn't rally care too much about the rest of the football world. But I still love watching Leicester.

When it comes to England the world cup was the first time in ages I'd really been interested but that's waning again until some proper matches turn up.

What I still love is grassroots football. Coached kids for years, though not this seasom. Definitely thinking of going back to that in the future. Anybody that has kids that play I'd recommend getting involved. It's great watching a group of young people you've worked with develop individually and as a team.

I’m the same this season as it feels like the seasons over other than going for the 7th spot.
