For making me fall out of love with the team I adore. Tell me truthfully if you're looking forward to going down on Saturday because I really can't be arsed to waste another Saturday watching turgid toilet football. Transition my hairy arse

What an awful comment this is. The first sentence nearly made be barf.

A plastic fan is essentially a fake fan. ... A plastic fan is one whose allegiance to a team is not determined by geography or family ties. He or she is a glory hunter. In one sketch, Roger Nouveau admits that he stopped supporting Manchester United 'because they weren't doing so well' and switched allegiance to Arsenal........ Is this you?

Well said Simoken, I was going to say something similar. I’ve been a fan for 50+ years - not just the good years

Yes I'm a glory hunter. I love this forum. This is why I've not posted on here for years now. I think I've put more than enough of my own hard earned money following us week in week out home and away, Yeovil, Carlisle, Hartlepool on cold wet Tuesday night's but yeah go on I'm a glory hunter because I get bored watching us under Puel.  Tell me do you still have the buzz to go and watch us this season? I don't have it like I used to, it's dross, no energy. Doesn't mean I won't support me team. Clown

Since I'm actually watching what's going on on the pitch, yes. I've missed Southampton, Bournemouth and Brighton away in the league, but in the other 10 games we've had a roughly half hour spell where we've looked rampant, but missed so many good chances - between the volley from the edge of the 6 yard box at Man Utd, the three good chances v Everton, the free header on the six yard box v WHam and the goalline clearance v Burnley, Vardy could reasonably be expected to have 3/4 more this season. Grays missed 1v1s, Ndidi and Iheanacho have had goals ruled out for offside, Morgan and Evans have completely missed the ball when presented with a sitter each (Liverpool and Cardiff respectively). We're not far off clicking and those chances falling properly, and when we do, someone is in for a pasting.

It's no worse than what the TWO managers before him were serving up though is it, so chucking it all at his door is ridiculous.

As a club we've enjoyed some of the biggest buzzes you're ever likely to get as a fan in recent years. Once in a blue moon stuff, what we're experiencing now is unfortunately the life of mid table premier league fans. It's boring, not bad enough to go down, not good enough to finish top 6. It's all a bit drab, fans and players start losing interest. Club gets rid of the "steady" manager, **** up the next appointment and then get relegated. Are there any teams out there that haven't followed that trend?

We could be knocking it about a bit more, but I promise you we won't be picking up that many more points. People will still be complaining about being bored, people will still lose interest and crowds will drop. I want better football as well, it might make it all a bit more palatable for a while longer... but sooner or later that's where you end up. Bored of just existing, I go down for a day out with some friends as it's an excuse to meet up when perhaps we normally wouldn't. If it was all about the football for me, I'd have probably stopped going down years ago, because for every great season you probably have 5 shit ones... we've bucked that trend a bit by being an utterly mental club for the last 20 years.
