I agree, but I think the idea is the three in front of them are really the creative fulcrum to support/feed Vardy. Id accept the formation of it was working, but it isnt.

I really want us to get a midfielder who can ping a ball or spot a run, meaning Maddison can stay higher up the pitch. Mendy is excellent at ball retention, and Ndidi excellent at tackling, interceptions and aerial duels. If only they were one player.

They're good players but an uninspiring combo.

 

With Silva not making any impression and Iborra more of a squad/backup player there's not much you can do though.

I like the fact that after the game on MOTD he admitted we were crap. Most managers most of the time just hide from the fact.

We’ve got 5 really difficult fixtures now 4 league 1 cup,

 

we could easily lose all 5. We really needed to get more points on the board than we have.
