Is this server as I thought this happened a few days a go?
Saxondale Posted 8 August 2019 Posted 8 August 2019 When I saw the thread title, I assumed this was another player we were linked with.

I immediately thought similarities, apart from age and location, to Madeleine McCann.
Wymsey Posted 11 August 2019 Author Posted 11 August 2019 A hotline has been introduced in Malaysia to appeal for any information on Nora's possible whereabouts. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-49311248

No girl should die under such circumstances, the whole world still ahead of her.
Collymore Posted 15 August 2019 Posted 15 August 2019 Died of starvation apparently and no foul play involved. BBC News - Nora Quoirin death: Post-mortem finds 'no foul play'Link Thought you could last much longer without food than a week or two but maybe that's for a healthy adult. Although still utterly tragic it has to be some relief that she was not kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

Her parents said she never went anywhere alone and she had impared mobilty. Why was she found naked?

But the official explanation doesn't lack credibility. They reckon she didn't die only of starvation but also internal bleeding due to a perforated ulcer (possibly caused by hunger). She was found only 1.6 miles from where she'd been staying - and next to a mountain stream. Would it have been impossible, even for someone with impaired mobility to have walked 1.6 miles in more than a week? Would a hypothetical abuser have left her body so close by, and next to a stream for some reason? And, by definition, all sorts of people suddenly act unexpectedly for whatever reason. Maybe she sleepwalked or instinctively fancied an adventure, then got lost? As for being naked, it's quite common for people suffering from hypothermia/exposure to become mentally confused, to paradoxically feel hot and to take off clothing, making their situation worse: It causes 20% to 50% of hypothermia deaths, according to Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypothermia#Paradoxical_undressing I'm not saying this is what happened. Clearly, I haven't a clue what happened. I'm just saying that the official explanation MIGHT be correct. It's easy to assume...."vulnerable young girl.....doesn't usually go off on her own....found naked.....therefore, foul play" (though I appreciate that you're just asking questions, not making such assumptions, Buce)

Collymore Posted 15 August 2019 Posted 15 August 2019 You'd of thought with her being so close that she might have been found earlier, especially with all those people looking for her. Found near a stream too which you might think of a place to look in the heat. Can't be that many streams with in 2 miles or so of the place, surely? I suppose she might have been hiding though and scared as no doubt she would have heard at one point people crying out her name and just thought "I'll be in deep trouble" or "I don't trust these people..."
