Fightforever Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 chillwell wasn't bursting down the wing like he usually does. Then again no one really was. If you had to choose wolves were the better team but no one deserved to win that game. Rusty season opener in general.

He needs dropping and to come back later with improvements. Maddison tends to fancy himself a little too much. Honestly think both he and Gray think they are better than they currently are

MC Prussian Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 The system needs time to take full effect - having said that, Vardy was once more pretty much isolated up front. Need more punch coming from such a potent midfield. Chilwell hardly moved forward, Pereira was only marginally better. Instead of drawing them out wide, we gave them time and time again to gain their shape. 1
Bezzanator89 Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Not a classic from an attacking perspective. Got our fair share of the decisions, which I don't say often. Seriously need to work on all forms of our set-pieces and decision making in the final third, especially Maddison who had a stinker. Says a lot when the biggest cheer of the afternoon comes either a piece of defensive magic by Wilfred Ndidi or the VAR decision disallowing Wolves' goal that had been coming. All that said, relatively solid and Caglar passed his first test convincingly, kept Raul Jimenez relatively quiet. A point against a very good Wolves side and onto the next game. Better than a loss so we can all keep calm for now!

NasPb Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Some players looked rusty. Ie chillwell, Maddison etc..
