Wolves H Match Thread

Recommended Posts

A tough fixture to go at without any momentum, although there's not exactly many picnic games around anymore either. It's vital that we keep up with Wolves and Everton and then who knows, so important not to lose but need to make sure we at least draw at their place.

Ah well. Not too bad for the first game. Soyuncu a massive positive today

Both teams off the pace but had big chances

Soyuncu was our best player today for sure.  harry who?

Not good enough today, much better with Barnes and Albrighton on.

2 defensive midfielders is not the way to play, I am assuming that Choudrey wil be replaced by Praet if that formation is used again.

Had a "first game of the season rustyness" feeling about it. Some positives to take. Hopefully we'll look hungrier and crisper next week. Lacked any clinical edge in the final third, but Wolves are a good team and after the curse of losing our opening day fixtures the last 3 seasons maybe a draw is an omen greater things are to follow...

Absolute dog shit going forward.

Defended well at times some very sloppy moments.

In truth

Failed to even attempt to try and beat a extremely tired wolves side.

Much improvement needed or its bot going to look good for us

Exactly some need to calm down, it’s our first competitive game where for a large part we played a new system, yes we look rusty but a draw against what we know is a decent side is not really that bad of a result

Just so indicative of some of the posters on here and modern day football fans in general. Overreact to every little thing and demand instant success
