Looks as thought the closure of the A34 isn't happening this weekend which is lucky for people coming down that way, it was terrible last weekend.

Yep, confirmed as follows:

Location : The A34 northbound. Reason : Road marking works are planned. Status : Pending. Schedule : Expect disruption everyday between 21:00 and 06:00 from 24 October 2019 to 27 October 2019. Lanes Closed : All lanes will be closed.

 

And I thought we had a crap journey last weekend for the Burnley game. Good luck getting round that one guys.

Archers Road slightly further down is free parking, and I think that the roads around Westwood road are free after 6 as well. 

The other place is it's free I think around Ocean Village after 8pm in the car parks, but I can't be sure about that.
