Not sure why Iheanacho was booked.

Or Pereira. Think it was Grealish (?) jumps in to him, goes down and Oliver books him.

Apparently that's the same level of foul as Targett nearly snapping Pereira's shin in half.

Bit of a a silly way to look at it because yellows can be awarded for a vast variety of different reasons. It’s not like a dive would be equivalent to Targetts challenge either. But, what a horrendous tackle.

True. Being facetious but in the context of the same game its embarrassing how the officials have missed that.

Referees have missed the Targett there.

Yep you’re bang on. To be honest I’m gobsmacked too, because Oliver is normally one of the best. I’m all for a tasty midlands derby but it was just poor officiating today from start to finish.

Apparently 4 fouls ......... not that specific ‘foul’

Just read that Sterling and B. Silva are one yellow card away from a suspension (we play them in 2 games incase anyone needs reminding)

Knew Sterling had his from a couple weeks ago I think so had been waiting to see if he would pick one up this weekend or next weekend.

Do League Cup games count? Not that they'll play against the mighty Oxford but just wondering...

And Trent so hopefully Big Nice can get him to hack Sarr down next week.
