Had a free bet on Plymouth at 20/1....plymouth/queens park double would've been 545/1.

Plymouth were only 16/1 on Skybet as I had them.

Wayne Rooney being linked with Rangers!! Must be overlooking the fact, he failed recently at Birmingham and Plymouth, plus a Celtic fan and even has a Celtic tattoo.

 

I get understand if they decide to go back to Gerrard, yep hes crap at management but he did okay last time at ibrox.

I think for Rangers Dyche would be a better push, I think he would get more of a reaction from Rangers. 

 

Don't rule out Gerrard returning, seem to be the only place he was actually good at as manager. Just imagine Gerrard up against Rodgers again.

I've honestly no idea what the board is thinking about after yesterday's 4 appointments to the end of the season. Its got comedy value written all over it. 

 

Rumours of a cash injection by Americans, or more likely they are buying the shares that were converted from loans to 2 of the Directors. 

 

Dyche scares me because he could do a decent job there, but does he want to move to another club with a dodgy board setup after Everton?

 

I don't think Gerrard would take it, even he would see the gap to Celtic too big to bridge and be on a hiding to nothing. 

 

I'm not sure the Rangers job is attractive to many high profile managers. The support don't accept 2nd,   there's the sectarian element that goes along with it (and is getting louder, especially at away games),   and there isn't the money available to realistically challenge Celtic.

Danny Rohl would be quite an ambitious appointment for Rangers, Rangers a bigger club than Sheffield Wednesday but will be hard lure a a manager away from the english second tier to scotland?
