Our fans dislike is probably driven by the way they used to behave, especially at Filbert St in the late 90s/ early 00s. Plenty of awful chanting and a nasty atmosphere when they came down, although it has eased off a lot since the move of stadium and their decline.

Don't get the hate for dirty Leeds? Perhaps it's a 70's thing, I don't know, or that everyone has gone soft. 

 

God's own county and all that. Some of them even say it with a straight face. If it's not Yarkshire it's shite.

Oh yeah I get oldies disliking them from the dirty leeds days but those days are long gone, even late 90s they had started to play good footie by that point

True, I know you’re on the wind up most of the time. I can understand following a small inoffensive team, but not Leeds. 
 

What I hate, being from Leeds, is that they’ve got a good fanbase... but around Xmas when they’re doing well, every man and his dog jumps on. I know every club has those, but when it’s everyone you know (barring the proper fans) it grates a bit. 
 

Plus I’ve had stick from being about 5 for being a City fan.

ah most the fans i know just love leeds, no glory hunting. they take the piss out of themselves more than anyone else and they’re all sound as fu ck.

Leeds have the much easier run-in of the top 6. Only have to play 1 promotion rival ( Fulham at home ). I reckon they’ll do it, despite their iffy run. West Brom & Leeds for me.
